I just got this bedding for my son from Babies R Us. I use it in a dark brown crib. It looks great. I really like the fabric (including soft suede like fabric) and the textured animals on the bed skirt, bumper, quilt & valance. The color scheme is warm and the design of the animals goes well in a baby's room. My son likes to look at the different animals on the bumper while he falls asleep.

The set comes with 6 pieces - bed skirt, bumper, quilt, valance (approx. 90 inches wide, can be bunched up for narrower windows), fitted sheet, & diaper stacker. There are many other accessories such as throw pillows, lamp, wall border, wall hanging, mobile, extra crib sheet, etc - that can be purchased separately.

I have always liked to use the reviews on Amazon to help me determine what products I will purchase. The reviews helped me decide to purchase this bedding set. With my last baby, we bought a bedding set from Target that was inexpensive. It was not good quality. It didn't fall apart but the bumper was small and didn't stay up well, the sheet didn't fit, but the comforter was okay. The quality of the fabrics on the Zanzibar was unbelievable. It did have different types of fabrics that were of different textures just as I had read. It is beautiful and the bumper is pretty substantial. I am delightfully shocked at this product. I only wish they had more of the accessories that match the set on this website. It is also going perfectly in our "girl" room. We were trying to stay away from pinks and this is perfectly fitting for a boy or a girl.

We really went back and forth in selecting a theme for our soon-to-be sons room. Daddy wanted blue & sports. I wanted anything but that! LOL. Our major considerations were cost and having a theme that would "grow with" our son. I didn't want anything too "babyish" so we weren't changing his room in 2 years. This theme has ended up being perfect for us. The bedding features turtles, crocodiles, zebras, monkeys, elephants, a bird, and giraffe. The colors are neutral and very easy to match. We picked up on the sage green color and have been able to find it at Target (Amy Coe's line) and also BRU's Koala kids sheets & blankets. We also purchased the green chambray Kidsline hamper at BRU and it matches perfect.

The items are VERY high quality and wash up beautiful (they still look 100% brand new after being washed). I love the soft suede like material. There are lots of accessories available at BRU and even more of a selection at other stores that carry Kidsline products. we were able to purchase this set for around $165 when BRU had a 15% off coupon on all bedding sets - which made it a great deal! All and all this has been one of our best buys yet!

We love our Zanzibar set and have received many compliments on it. We washed the bumper, curtains, drapes and sheets and all came out great. There are some 'extra' accessories to this set, not all are carried by in the store at Babies R Us or are on Amazon..items such as the switchplate, hamper, photo frame.. Check on line for these items. We are pleased overall with this set and recommend it!!

After going to babies r us several times, i finally went to another baby website and found the zanzibar 6 piece set for $40 cheaper. with free shipping and no tax. so it is a great set, but am glad i looked around before buying it.

I love this set. It looks great and the different textures are a welcome addition. Perfect for boys esecially if you don't want to do the same old sports theme. Very pleased with the set and I highly recommend it.

I'm a Daddy and don't post reviews much, but I had to for this one. No nursery set theme compares to this one in design or price...6-piece for $189?? Great for boy or girl....The wall hangings and accessory stuff is pretty fun too...

I purchased this set for my baby on the way. I was a little hesitant on paying so much for bedding that gets used for a relatively short period of time. With my previous children, I bought much cheaper sets and got what I paid for. They wore out and faded fairly quickly and only made it through one child. This set is beautiful. The quality is obvious. The bumper and comforter are twice as thick as cheaper versions and you cannot match the detail. The animals seem to jump right out at you. It is absolutely adorable and I like the fact that it is not "baby colors". Plus you get everything with this set including a diaper stacker and window valance. I also bought it when it was on sale so I got 15% off. Well worth it and althought this will be my last child, it could easily be passed on to another. Don't waste your time with cheaper versions.

I bought another crib set, but did not like the quality. I ended up purchasing this one and the quality is great. The textures on the animals are wonderful..everything from corduroy to quilted fabric. My son is 5 months old now and he loves touching all the animals and running his hands on the material. I also think it's gender neutral, so I can use it for our next child.

My husband and I are expecting our 2nd son in 3 weeks. I purchased the Baby Guess Denim for my 1st and it lasted him 2.5 years. Spending a little more definately makes a difference. I loved that last set but it is no longer available. I opted for the Kidsline Zanzibar and it is wonderful. It is not typical boy colors and the quality of the fabric is perfect for the weekly, sometimes daily washings you often endure with babies. It is not a harsh fabric and not so dense that I would be afraid to use it with my newborn. I would suggect purchasing the fleece blanket that matched. It is a perfect accompaniment to the set (I bought all the acessories I could find, though) and you'll probably use it more than the comforter.
