I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. This is the second Kidz Bop that I bought for her. She plays it over and over in her room while she sings along. It is so cute! Well worth the money!

I haven't heard the CD, so I can't rate it. The four stars I gave it are only because I had to give the CD SOME rating in order to leave this review, which is actually a follow-up to a previous review by Nicole L. Ashton.

Ms. Ashton suggested that potential buyers of Kidz Bop 14 check the lyrics of "Stop and Stare," because it uses the "F-bomb" more than once and also the racist "N-word". That would certainly be a problem for us, so I indeed looked up the song's lyrics -- at both http://www.lyricsdir.com/onerepublic-stop-and-stare-lyrics.html and http://www.absolutelyrics.com/lyrics/view/onerepublic/stop_and_stare/ -- and I found neither of those offensive words, nor any others. And having given it another moment's thought, it seems highly unlikely to me that the producers of a popular on-going CD series aimed at kids and sung by kids would risk their reputation and future sales by choosing a song with those words in it.

I don't know what caused Ms. Ashton to write the review she did, but I sure don't think the Kidz Bop version of the song added offensive words not in the original. Maybe she heard those words on a different song on Kidz Bop 14 (or on another CD altogether) and attributed them to "Stop and Stare" by mistake. Or maybe she just misheard the lyrics.

This was a gift for my daughter's 8th birthday and she and her friends love it. And it is not too annoying as the songs are from Top 40 artists.

I bought this cd for my granddaughter. She just loves it. She sings along with the songs. She especially loves the song about "Shorty." It's an excellant cd for children.

MY GRANDSON COLTON LOVES THIS CD!! HE WILL BE 5 ON VALENTIMES DAY 09 AND HE CAN SIGN ALL THE SONGS.SOUNDS SO SWEET TO HEAR HIM SING ALONG WITH IT. I'LL BE BUYING NEW ONES AS THEY ARE RELEASED.

I suggest parents/grandparents/anyone interested in buying this series of music look at the playlist and educate yourself on the original artist and lyrics of the songs. While there is no profanity, I do not want my daughter singing "when I grow up" when the original Pussycat Dolls version talks about "I want to be in movies, I want to have boobies".

This gives children a taste of pop music where they will recognize the tune on the radio and sing along not realizing that they lyrics have adults themes and promote shallow,materialistic, self absorbed life.

So, educate yourself before you buy. I personally will not. If I won't allow her to listen to the original song by the original artist, then she cannot listen to the Kids Bop version.

My daughter wanted this for her birthday and she loves it. She has a couple other of the Kidz Bop CD's. Great music for kids.

THIS IS A VERY ENJOYING CD. MY SON LOVES IT AND SO DO I. THIS MAKES A GREAT GIFT AND THE MUSIC IS REFRESHING!!!!

It was in perfect condition. It actually came earlier than told which was
perfect before a 14 hour ride with two children to help entertain them and get them to our vacation destination.

The music is fantastic for the kids. They just love it and it is ideal for kids party. It has that fun, clean energy that fosters a healthy environment for children.
