MY LITTLE GIRL ANNA LOVES MUSIC AND I FOUND THIS ONE FOR HER.AND THE ADDED BONUS IS THAT I ACTUALLY KNOW THE WORDS!IF YOU WANT TO INTRODUCE YOUR CHILD TO MUSIC IN A FUN WAY THEN THIS IS THE CD FOR YOU.AND IF YOU LIKE THE 80'S THEN THIS IS THE CD TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.

First of all, you have to remember that these CD's are made (mainly) by kids for kids. But if you're a product of the 80's (or just love 80's music) you can have fun listening to these songs along with your kids. Generally, the versions here are pretty good (though a few would rather have you poking needles in your ears). Hey, you gotta love it when kids are singing along to the Twisted Sister classic "We're not gonna take it" (which is one of the best renditions here). Also, any "questionable" lyrics are changed to accommodate young ears (for example on "Karma Chameleon" the line "I'm your lover, not your rival" is changed to "I'm your friend, not your rival"). Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys these songs from the 80's. Enjoy!

Presumably if you are looking at this product it is because you have kids. And, if you have kids and must face listening to kids music - this is a fine choice. My 5 year old loves this CD - good for our family dance competitions in our living room. If I had to pick between this CD and Kidz Bop DCs of newer music - I would pick this one.

My 3 and 1.5 year olds actually like this cd and that's why I gave it 4 stars, but I think they'd like the songs even if they were sung by the original artists. I know I'd like it better. But, overall it's good.
