My 8 yr old granddaughter loves kidz bop and this cd didnt let us down. the music is great and she loves it.

Before we were asked to review the KIDZBOP Dance Party! CD, we had never listened to the music, outside of hearing it on television commercials. So we took this chance to put the CD in the player and turn up the volume...

The KIDZBOP Dance Party! CD features 12 popular songs, including, "Party in the USA," "Hot N Cold," and "I Got a Feeling." Each song is sung by the KIDZBOP kids -- the music is lively and the songs are family-friendly because the lyrics have been changed. For example, in Katy Perry's song, "Hot N Cold," the word "kiss" was replaced by the word, "hug." In this and other songs, select words were replaced to make them and certain situations more family-friendly.

Some of our younger reviewers really enjoyed listening to the KIDZBOP music, but many of the older kids preferred listening to their original versions sung by the artist. Some parents would not allow their children to listen to the songs in their original versions, so KIDZBOP was a great way to let their children continue to listen to the songs without worrying about inappropriate lyrics. Still, other parents felt that some songs were still not kid-appropriate, no matter that the lyrics were changed.

MyParenTime.com recommends the KIDZBOP Dance Party CD - if you're a parent and your child likes to listen to popular music but you don't want them listening to songs with non-family-friendly lyrics, KIDZBOP CDs are an option you may want to experience.

Some of the Kidz Bop are better then others. This is not high on my list. Some of the songs are on his other CDs, and the others, well, I'd rather not have to endure.

We're just starting to listen to "Tweener music" and my husband and I love the Kidz Bop series because frankly... they're safe.

This particular CD has some excellent singing. Whoever the principle singers are, they have good voices which the recording producer has put to good use. There's distortion, throat-miking, echoing, and various other synthetic effects that when applied make the Kidz Bop versions sound excitingly similar to the real thing.

My 10 and 8 yo's love the lively party mix on this CD, whereas they have been lukewarm to the slower songs on KidzBop 18.

THE SKINNY:::

This particular Kidz Bop CD is excellent. The songs maybe from other albums but for us it was perfect because we don't own those other ones.

The production quality is good. And the songs are infectious.

Delivery was right on time. And this is a great CD. The kids love it.

I should have paid attention to the list of songs before I bought the CD. It is just a compilation of songs from previous Kidz Bop CDs, which I already own. There are no new songs in here. If you already own several Kids Bop CDs, don't waste the money on this one.
