This is absolutely terrible. I'm not usually one to condone censorship, but this CD needs to be taken off the shelves and blacklisted.

Don't let the kids bop kids disgrace The Beatles! Isn't there any boundaries for this kind of thing. I mean why would they authorize the rights for these songs to be destroyed? It's so sad. Dollars aren't this important...Let your kids listen to the REAL Beatles, mine do....heheh

I'll be blunt:

SONG CHOICES: Ah, couldn't have picked a better artist to defecate on! Though I WAS kind of hoping for "I Am the Walrus" and "Revolution 9".
VOCALS: The kids on backing vocals sound like a third grade choir on Prozac. The lead singer...Hoo, boy, the lead singer. First off, couldn't they have picked a guy? These are male artists being covered. I'm all for anyone being able to cover a song (I say that begrudgingly in this case), but, really? Minor point, though--doesn't bother me too much. In addition, couldn't they have picked someone with better anunciation? The vocals just sound...off. I also heard some pretty clear pitch correction on some of the vocals (especially noticeable on the first half of the album).
INSTRUMENTATION: Guitar is okay. Drumbeats all sound synthesized. And most other instruments as well.
PAIN LEVEL: OVER 9000

I at least expected sub-par recordings. What we have here, however, is simply inexcusable. It was a bad idea from the start to have Kidz Bop: The Beatles. (Seems like everyone's tried to cash in on the Fab Four in 2009, eh?) Still, I at least expected actual effort to at least not ruin the songs too much. I at least expected an actual drummer.

In short: DO NOT WANT.

These kids don't sing the Beatles they ruin them. If your kids are interested in the Beatles do not buy them this. It's pretty pathetic with the kids singing on the regular CDs, but they have taken it too far with this whole Beatles thing. The kids who sing for Kidz Bop are being payed way too much for what the quality of there voices are. It would be fine if they had kids who could sing but they don't. The Beatles need more respect then these kids are giving them.

The Sun is going nowhere near the producers of this garbage. Anyone "Sings the Beatles" is bad enough (honestly what is wrong with the real thing? NOTHING), but Kidz Bop? Why? The music is mailed in and the singing, oh the humanity. The singing is awful. Do not let any child be disallowed the opportunity to hear the real Beatles by substituting them with this atrociousness.

Wow, what is this world coming to when music execs green light this crap. We are talking about the most famous and probably most influential band of all time here, do you really some no talent tone-deaf kids are really going to do the band justice? I seriously cannot see any reason for buying this, I mean gosh if you're going to buy an album with Beatles songs on it then just buy their greatest hits album 1. I don't know who decided to start this series, and I seriously doubt anyone cares about my opinion, but this.... thing, is an abomination to one's ears. Covering crappy recent music is one thing, but this is not the way for a young person to discover the Beatles, now listening to them on classic vinyl late at night, that's the way I discovered them. Please don't buy this.

I agree with the other reviews that this is not the best version of Beatles songs, but remember that this CD is geared to children. My 6 year old daughter loves it, and I'm glad to hear her listening to songs geared to 'older' listeners and not young children. I think this CD allows children to really appreciate good music in a way that they enjoy. It may not be the best (who but a kid could really enjoy the Beatles being sung by other children), but it's a great way to change their taste in music.

I repeat what you see in that title. I have nothing else to say.

My daughter is 5 and she Loves(!!) this cd. My husband and I alike love it too! This is our favorite kids bop that she owns. We like the beatles and this may be why...?

I bought this CD just so I could burn it. It's one thing to make popular songs worse, but to ruin a legendary band like THE BEATLES? Come on now.
