My kids LOVE using the camera.

We were thrilled at the comcept of a kids digital Camera.

I would give THIS product a 0 or half star rating if I could.

The pictures absolutly SUCK!!!!!

And It is a horrible painful process to try and upload them on the computer!!!!!!

We didnt even try the software as the pictures were so crappy!!!

I hope to find a better digital camera for my kids. They keep wanting to use their camera.

The camera has no display and even the adults cannot even tell when a picture has been taken. The driver disk provided did not allow us to download any pictures. This was tried on 3 different, up-to-date, computers. Buy something else!

My mom was very excited to find a digital camera for my son for Christmas. Sounded like a great idea, as my husband is an amateur photographer, and my son loves to both pretend to take pictures and also use disposable cameras. We were SO disappointed when he opened this camera to find that THERE IS NO DISPLAY! Okay, I take that back - there's an LCD that shows some very cryptic codes for camera functions. If you don't hit the right button and get it in the right mode, there's no way to take a picture. Without consulting the manual, there's no way to know if it's in picture taking mode, what quality of pictures it's set for, or if you're about to delete everything from its memory.

And it DOES NOT HAVE EXTERNAL STORAGE. There is no card to remove and put in a card reader. You can't even hook it up to your basic digital-camera-reading computer and get the images. You MUST use their software on a Windows machine (sorry, fellow Mac users! It won't work!), and even then - we got no actual images. Maybe we accidentally deleted them while fumbling with the cryptic codes and buttons.

We keep saying we'll read the manual again and figure it out. I feel badly that my mother spent her money on something of such poor quality, that had such potential. My son asks about his camera and really wants to use it. But at this point it's not much more than a very expensive play camera.

Invest in either a "real" digital camera, or an inexpensive film camera, and get cheap processing. This one just isn't worth it.

The pictures are horribly grainy. I figured for the price they wouldn't be great, but not as bad as they are. Plus, the real reason I chose this camera was for the "kid-friendly photo editing software", and it is confusing to navigate for an adult! I thought it would be easy to figure out, and it is not. Spend a little more and you can get a much better camera.

My son got this for christmas. It was difficult for even the adults to figure out. The pictures were VERY grainy and VERY difficult to download. My [...] son was so disappointed that he could not use it. We finally threw it in the garbage can where it belonged and got him a low cost REAL digital Sony for [...] Wish we would not have wasted the [...] on this. I should say, we did NOT expect great images from this camera, we just thought that he could easily take some low quality shots and put them on the computer. Even the adults got frustrated trying to figure it out. DO NOT BUY!!

This is a terrible disappointment. My 7 year old received this for Christmas, and it was horrible. We took 19 pictures, finally figured out how to download them on the computer, but then could not delete the pictures from the camera to take more. I finally removed and inserted batteries and it again showed there were 19 pictures available to take, but the camera did nothing. My child tried desperately to get the camera to work, to no avail. The display only partially worked. I could not figure out how to change modes to take more pictures. It says it has the ability to take up to 152 pictures in high density, low resolution mode. High density, high resolution mode should allow 38 images; low density, high resolution-19; low density, low resolution-76. Again, it was impossible to figure out what mode you were in and how to change it. How a child is supposed to manage this, I don't know. And with the partially functioning screen on the back, it was nothing but frustrating. My child had to run around taking pretend pictures. This one will definitely go back to the store. I didn't realize how much was paid for this since it was a gift, but please don't waste your money. Put it towards a low end, real digital camera that allows you point and shoot functioning and the ability to see the pictures on the camera, which is what kids expect from a digital camera. You would also gain the ability to focus, have a flash, and possibly some zooming capabilities. Hope this will save some aggravation for the rest of you considering this item.

PICTURES ARE TERRIBLE. CAN'T EVEN TELL WHAT THE PICTURE IS. PICTURES LOOK LIKE A BIG BLURR OF GREEN AND YELLOW. NO DISPLAY. WHAT GOOD IS A DIGITAL CAMERA WITHOUT A DISPLAY? KIDS ARE NOT EVEN UPSET TO SEE IT RETURNED. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I got two of these cameras for my kids last Christmas ('04). One broke on Christmas day and the other broke about two weeks later. Furthermore, my kids weren't even all that interested in them, which makes it all the more surprising that they broke. These things are junk.

This Camera was a Christmas gift for my daughter, she was so excited... The Camera took awful pictures, The lighting was either dark or to light, the pictures where all blurred, not to mention they where all unfocused. We couldn't even figure out if it did take a picture.. This one got tossed in the trash..

I purchased the camera kit for my 9 year old grandsons birthday. He loves the camera and what he can do with it on the computer. I would highly recommend this camera kit to others.
