Kiki Smith: Telling Tales accompanies a major exhibition at the International Center of Photography. Through these symbolic female figures, the artist explores themes of temptation and sexuality, attraction and danger, and the impact of knowledge. Myths, fairy tales, and childhood fantasies predominate.

The book Kiki Smith: Telling Tales is a catalog of sorts for one of her shows. It has an artist statement and thoughts about the show from the photographer. The pictures are more artistically shot than just general depictions of 'this room looked like this' but you still get a good feel of this show and Kiki's mindset as she was making it. For anyone who enjoys her work and wants to see more, this is a good book to have.
