Bought Bonga as a Christmas stocking stuffer for my teenager that requested "cool gadgetry" for Christmas. This was a big hit. It is one of the crawling Kikkerland critters, as opposed to some of the models that just jump around. This one is slow and steady, crawling over items in its path. (Awika goes faster, shoots sparks, and runs out of steam sooner than Bonga). YouTube has some good video of this little guy in action. These are retro-looking wind up toys with metal gears - very cool. Highly recommended little toy for adults and teens alike. (I don't have small kids so can't comment on younger age groups). Be aware that long hair can gum up the gears a bit; we found that they run better on hard surfaces than on carpet, but they work on carpet just fine.

I love these Kikkerland toys. They require no batteries, are very creatively designed and unlike anything else I've seen. Children and pets love to watch them crawl around too! This wind up toy is well made out of metal and strong plastic parts (mostly metal). The great thing about them is that you can see inside of the toy and figure out how it works. Its a great example to show children how gears and mechanical things work. I have 4 different wind up toys from Kikkerland and I love them all.

This little "guy" is powerful for his size, but his spring has a fairly short life, before needing wound again. Never the less, he does indeed climb over obstacles and keep going for as long as he can.

I agree with an earlier reviewer that this advertisement is very misleading. We purchased thinking we'd be getting all 6 in the photo... couldn't find anywhere that it said you will only get one. I imagine they just randomly pick one to send to you. Utterly ridiculous. I will be sending this back to Amazon along with a note of our disappointment.

The advertisement is misleading as one is made to belief that you will receive 3 different toys instead you receive 3 of the same kind. Very disappointing.
