It works great and has proven very useful.

Still a cool gift, just maybe not for someone who actually needed a screwdriver for something.

I think it is hilarious, but the hinge in the back only let me open it a couple times before breaking.
I was actually going to give it to someone, but I can't now.
I don't think tools should be fragile.

Who doesn't love a plastic gimcrack made in China that looks like a military weapon? I bet the 12-year-olds who make these ENJOY an underpaid smile at that irony.

As my kids are always losing their tool sets (they'd lose their earbuds if I hadn't hotglued them into place) - I decided to carbiner one of these to each of their Carmen Sandiego backpacks. Well, what a ruckus that school's liberal administrators and staff and security officers made!

Still - two of our kids survived the police stand-off (flesh wounds - which earned them nachos for dinner, their favorite), and they know their little sister stood up for our 2nd Amendment right to be armed at school - even if it is with a cheap plastic Chinese screwdriver kit.

1) It's way too big to put on a keychain. How will you ever lug your keys around with this heavy ass plastic grenade on it?
2) Don't even think about trying to put your keys in your pocket once the grenade is attached, the thing is about the size of a tennis ball. Good luck.
3) Now that I have established that it will be impossible to bring this around with you, it then just becomes something that sits on your desk at work as a conversation piece.
4) The little attachments are really hard to get out, you practically need a pair of pliers to take them out.
5) Looks cool and is fun to toss at unsuspecting friends and coworkers.

Faced once again with the tough decision of what to get my dad for Father's Day, I found myself deeply torn between an automatic dog watering bowl and this handy gadget. I figured it's been years since Vietnam, and that since he's at long last found the correct psychoactive drug cocktail for him that his lifelong PTSD was finally in check. Boy, was I wrong! The moment he opened his "gift," he numbly let it slip out of his lap onto the floor, started hyperventilating, then began nervously pacing around the room. He'd occasionally glance at it, then quickly look away, mumbling to himself something about Nixon. I suppose in retrospect I should've known better, but I had to get him something, right?

On a practical note, I do wish the unit came with Torx bits, which are so popular nowadays. And... be warned... the magnets on these babies are STRONG! One day I had the thing stashed in my pocket, you know, playing a little game of "let's mess with dad," when I passed by the refrigerator. Dang if this thing didn't nearly rip right through the pocket of my army fatigue pants as it tried to get to that steel!

I got this because my husband plays MW3 and I thought it would be a cute gift to put together with some other little gifts for Father's day. It was smaller than I expected, but the picture does show that it is key chain size so that was my wrong assumption. It's really cool though.

Thought it would be a fun stocking gift, but tools are tiny, and grenade is hard to open. Plastic and feels flimsy. You get what you pay for.

The grenade body is all plastic: there is a plastic hinge and plastic clip holding the grenade closed. It works great now, but I forsee that the plastic hinge connecting both sides of the grenade will break, as well as the closing clasp. The magnetic shaft is pretty strong, but the entire shaft is hard to get out of the grenade center without pliers.

So in summary, the screwdriver is super looking and will function great for a while, but it doesn't look like it will last for years of use.

This is a really fun item - I purchased it as a prize for a give away but liked it so much I kept it for myself. Nobody is going to mistake this for a real grenade so don't worry about that part and nobody should think this is a replacement for their home tools. But it does work as a screwdriver in a pinch and its FUN! Buy two - one to give away for a fun item and one to keep for yourself. It's a grown up's toy that is also useful. I'm glad I purchased it and I will purchase more for gifts.
