This mat is small. The backing is not very sticky so it was constantly getting kicked around and had to be moved back into place. It didn't do a good job of scraping gunk off your shoes. I ended up replacing it with a different mat.

This door mat is a bit smaller than the average mat. Not as good as a natural fiber mat for scraping shoes, but it works just fine. This is a plastic mat with a rubber backing. The top layer is stringy plastic all matted together. Sorry for the poor description, my plastics vocabulary is a bit lacking :) If you need a heavy duty door mat, look elsewhere. If you need a door mat more for decoration/looks, this one is perfect. Every other door in my neighborhood has a bland ol' brown door mat, I have skull and crossbones!
