They really glow in the dark!

The plastic is thinner than any other plastic card, and flimsier too.

The thought behind these cards is pretty interesting, but the execution is lacking. These cards are easy to shuffle but hard to deal. The glow in the dark mateiral sticks each card to the one above and below it. Making fast dealing and sorting of cards in your hand impossible for actual play. Stay away if you want to play anything that involves trying to take one card from either your hand or from the deck..

In a previous review, someone mentioned that they were disappointed by the shortness of the glowing effect of these cards... Well, how many people expect the glowing effect to last very long on a deck of playing cards?
I think these cards are fantastic. Completely waterproof, which is perfect for kids (& drinks). I'm not sure how tear-resistant these cards are - I have no intention of testing this out either - but they're certainly more resistant than classic playing cards. These cards are fun to use with a black light as well.

Cool but not user friendly if you are like me and don't have patience to learn the look of these cards. I bought these to play on our boat on the lake as sometimes the wind blows on the cards and they get wet. I chose these over plastic versions of the classic playing cards because they look cool and they glow in the dark which I thought the kids would think is cool while camping. We ended up taking them to the Caribbean before even using them at home. The kids did think they are cool. They need to be charged up under the sun or artificial light. I can't tell how long a charge lasts. I did not buy these for me to use but my husband wanted to play gin rummy with me on the plane and I found it frustrating because I couldn't recognize the cards. If I didn't have that experience I would have probably given it a higher rating because they do float in the water and my husband likes them too.

We were so excited about these and then so disappointed. They are so hard to charge. It hurts your eyes trying to play with them in black lights. You can't tell where the card is because they are clear and glowing. The paint on the cards is so thick they are hard to shuffle and hold in your hand. Glow in the dark without clear plastic might be better.

Well, me and my cousins were playing poker with them, but they tend to not slide against each other very easily. I know it's because of the paint they use for them to glow in the dark, but I wish there was a way to have them glide against each other a bit easier. Either way, REALLY fun under Black Light. X3

Was excited to get these. Followed the charging instructions (10 min in bright light). The glow only lasted about 20 min before it became impossible to read them. Worse, if you play in dim light, the low contrast of the painted glow numbers makes it hard to read them when the glow fades and you try straining your eyes to read them instead of relying on the glow. I may get a blacklight and try charging them with that instead to see if it helps, but I charged them under 8 really bright clear globes with poor results. Very, very disappointed. Cannot recommend. Save your money.

For starts, the seller is having reviews deleted, which is not a good sign at all.

The cards are VERY badly made. The plastic is thinner than any other plastic card, and flimsier too. The "Glow" portion is painted on... poorly... So it thickens the cards even more, so much so that they do not fit in the case under normal circumstances. And the case is a joke as well, warped and flimsy with a snap-shut that doesn't actually snap shut properly.

100% Definite DO NOT BUY.

I gave these to a college student as a gift. They arrived quickly and are very cool! She loves them for playing cards with friends at parties.
