These are freaking cute. Let me say that at the start.

However, I've been using the AsSeenOnTV brand dryer balls for a long time (Highly recommended!) and these are nowhere near as good. Within a couple of weeks' use, all the little nubs had broken off, and the pieces scattered throughout my laundry. No damage to the clothes, but the plastic these are made of is much more hard and brittle than the other brand, so it breaks. I've had the ASOTV ones for years and use them in almost every load... they are still going strong.

A+ for awesome style,
F for function.

These cute little hedgehogs are not only cute but also the best dryer balls I've ever used. If you never used dryer balls before your may not be able to appreciate them well. I've used other types of dryer balls and yes they do their job, which is not spectacular, but they do help speed up the drying process and fluff my clothes a bit, specially blankets, towels and such. But eventually the cheap plastic they're made of will crack and the balls will just break apart. This has not happened with these hedgehogs, since they are made with a better quality plastic that seems more durable. Also they fluff my clothes dramatically better than my other 4 dryer balls and they're only 2, and reduce drying time by around 30-40% which it's great. The only wear they are showing is that the black paint on their little noses chipped off because my dryer is stacked on top of the washer and they always fall to the ground when I open the dryer door. I've been using them for months and they are still in one piece. I really recommend them, they are totally worth their price.

i saw these on another site, then came here to buy them and i am so pleased i did!

i bought two sets (as i frequently do all my laundry at once at the laundromat) and i end up putting two at a time into the larger dryers with double loads.

i have never heard an abundance of noise from them, or really much noise at all.

i was most concerned that their little spikes would catch on delicate clothing, but so far, none of them has done so!

and yes, they really do (mostly) eliminate static cling. i only once had an item (i believe it was a sheet) that had a little static to it upon removal from the dryer, but other than that, these really are great!

all in all, i highly recommend these!

These guys are adorable, but the plastic is much harder than other dryer balls I've used, which means they are super LOUD in the dryer. They lasted for a while, then their noses fell off.

I would NOT recommend these to anyone.
I've had these maybe 3 weeks, and the black is fading and the noses and fallen off.

Bought these, admittedly, for their super cuteness, and they don't disappoint on that score, but they are a disaster as dryer balls. Within a few weeks (3 loads of laundry a week), the spines were falling off, and now one has no nose or eyes or face (!!), and the other is one-eyed and noseless. Very disturbing to the 3.5 y.o. hedgehog fan in our house!

The noise of these cute guys bouncing around in the dryer is deafening. I really wanted to like these guys - but could not stand the pounding noise. Might as well add a pail of rocks to your dryer. No idea whether do fluff - since I had to pull them out after two minutes.

I'm not sure why sorting dirty clothes into like colors, placing them in my washer and then coming back a half hour later to transfer them into my dryer causes me so much disdain. Considering the attitude I have toward doing my family's laundry, you'd think I have to haul my laundry to the riverbed and beat it among the rocks, which couldn't be farther from the truth as I have a lovely LG high efficiency front load washer and dryer. Yet, the laundry piles up and I refuse to acknowledge it until it has become an insurmountable summit that spills out into the hallway. This happens approximately once every two weeks. However, while shopping at World Market yesterday, I may have found a product that will forever change the way I look at laundry.

Introducing the HEDGEHOG Dryer Buddies by Kirkland...

Seriously, look at their adorable little hedgehog faces. How can I not be excited to toss them into the dryer so they can tumble amongst my towels. All the while fluffing them and apparently saving me both money and energy (or so the box claims.) Simply drop the hedgehogs into the dryer and they will use their hedgehog magic to soften, fluff, and reduce static.

I've been busy scaling my laundry mountain today with the help of these little guys and while my clean laundry is soft, fluffy, and static free, I'm not sure if I should attribute these qualities to the use of my new found Dryer Buddies, or the fact that I'm actually folding my laundry when the drier timer announces the end of its cycle instead of letting it sit until it becomes a wrinkled heap of laundered garments. The thing is, I don't really care if they are successful at all that they claim to do, by using their hedgehog cuteness alone, they motivated me to scale Mount Laundry with a smile on my face.
