I am quite happy with the Sputnik Memo holder. It arrived quickly and looks just like it was advertised. I am using it to display some of my post card collection.

I purchased this product to use as a recipe holder in my kitchen. It works perfect. The legs of the holder are adjustable in height and rotate. We use this product to view all of our recipes at eye level, in one place, while we are cooking. It is a perfect recipe holder.

I bought this for my desk at work because I have a few pictures I wanted to display but have no room for frames and no wall space for a corkboard. The two pictures I have on display now are vertical 4x6s and they are in the process of folding/flopping over at the middle (almost like a bridge effect). In hindsight, I wouldn't have purchased this unless I had pictures or cards to display that were horizontal.

It's a good thing I bought this for a table decoration and not to use on a daily basis. I love the telescoping arms and how you can arrange them however you want. But one of my arms would never stay up...it just kept flopping over to the side. I tried tightening the screw that held the arm in place but it did nothing. I ended up super gluing it in place which means it can never be rearranged.

My husband is using this on his deployment in his room because he can't put much on the walls and there is limited desk space for pictures in frames. He says it's really good and doing exactly what it needs to - displaying pics of us back home without taking up his limited space. It'd probably be really good for a desk at work since you'd have the same space issue.

It holds all of my photos and/or small pieces of paper however one of the clasps broke on the same day. It still clips but the spring is out of its position and the clasps are bending in weird ways (though, still able to clasp a photo). Like the other reviewers, I wish each rod was able to spin 360 but it can only go 180 (i.e., left to right).

This thing is a great concept in theory. It holds notes, pictures, whatever... I use it to hold perfume blotters when smelling oils/chemicals and making perfumes. The telescoping, alligator clip, armatures are screwed onto a flat tab. The flat tab is a screw post that screws into the spherical metal base. That flat tab prevents the armatures from being multidirectional/rotating so you can only move the arms in two directions determined by direction of the flat plane of the tab they are screwed onto. You can screw the tab into the spherical base or out of the base to change the direction of the arm but this whole process is unwieldy, stiff and clunky. The design and functionality could be GREATLY improved if they were to use tight ball joints instead of screwing the arm tab into the base. Also, the thinnest tip of the telescoping rods (that the alligator clips are welded to) are cheap, flexible metal that bends easily. The base is sufficiently weighted but could also benefit from a conical shaped design to prevent it from tipping.

This is a very unique memo holder! I used it to hold gift cards for a man's birthday. He will be able to use it on his desk to hold photos or memos. The base looks even better in person, and is heavy enough to keep the holder standing upright. I only ordered one, but will be ordering more! I am giving my son concert tickets, so will use one of these memo holders to display the tickets, and will print out a little "Happy Birthday" sign, and pictures of the band to put on the other clips. It was delivered very quickly and in excellent condition. Makes a great gift!
