5.0 out of 5 stars Kill the Craving book review, February 3, 2005
This review is from: Kill the Craving (Paperback)
I heard about this book from a friend and I had to buy it. After I started to do the exercises in the book, I began to feel sad about what my life has become of from all my years of using. The book made me think, feel, and even sweat especially when I saw the pictures in the book. WOW! I did not think my addiction had such a strong hold on me. The book was a good source of information and inspiration for me to try to beat this addiction one more and hopefully last time. I enjoyed the realistic approach because that type of help fits my personality better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Book Review, February 3, 2005

As a drug counselor I found this book realistic and refreshing. It incorporates a lot of techniques that I use but with the introduction of ERP (exposure response prevention) that makes it a whole new story. Reading about ERP and seeing the photographs was intense for me and I can see the validity of dealing with the triggers. I will encourage my clients to read more about this type of treatment.
