5.0 out of 5 stars Kill It Live - 5 Stars October 8, 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
As a longtime, old school NFG fan, I legitimately believe that this is the best live album by a punk band to-date. The track listing is flawless, the recording quality is exceptional, and the band's energy is unrivaled. Whether you're a diehard New Found Glory fan or not, the listener can't help but rock out while listening to this record.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still Killin It October 11, 2013
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Overall, just an excellent live album with 3 great new songs. I just wish we could have gotten a few more live songs out of them... but what can you do.

Just a few points:
-the guitar tone is absolutely fantastic. Loud, distorted, but a really clean distortion. Well done sound guys.
-singing is clean and easy to understand.
-some decent banter from the guys

New Found Glory is well-known for the energy they display at live shows (unlike other bands who might just stand there and perform) so if you haven't been to a show I would highly recommend it. If that's not possible then this album is almost as good.

I think both old-school fans and newcomers alike will appreciate this album -- it has a good variety of songs from all their albums. Yes, it doesn't have every hit and there are many additional songs I would have loved to seen, but it's more well-rounded then their greatest hits album from 2008.

A quick recap of the set list. Most should be familiar but there are three brand new songs at the end.

1. Intro - Kicking things of with the fast-paced intro bit from Catalyst

2. Understatement - A great opening song everyone knows that gets the crowd pumped up.

3. Don't Let Her Pull You Down - A hard-hitting song with some solid advice to boot.

4. All Downhill From Here - A crowd singing favorite.

5. Anthem for the Unwanted - One of my favorites from their latest studio album Radiosurgery. A highly relatable song about rejection.

6. At Least I'm Known For Something - mmm crunchy guitar and a heavy bass line.

7. Sonny - This song makes me emotional pretty much every time I hear it.

8. Something I Call Personality - ...and quickly changing gears back to a fast-paced song.

9. Boy Crazy - This song brings me back to high school.

10. Tip of the Iceberg - Probably the most hard-core song on the album. Not my favorite but not bad at all.

11. Coming Home - A good song from the album of the same name.

12. Forget My Name - Another oldie but goodie.

13. Sincerely Me - Super catchy pop punk.

4.0 out of 5 stars For sure killed it! January 1, 2014

One of the very few bands I still listen too from when I was younger. I think this live album does NFG justice the energy is there the quality and sound is killer. One of the best live albums I've heard for sure. The Three new tracks are pretty good as well the only complaint is that the track list in my opinion could have been better. I could have done with out sonny for a track like Truck stop blues. I think would have been killer. Not that I don't like sonny just a matter of opinion I guess. But killer album nun the less.
