The Atom Age hails from Berkeley, California, and have managed both to capture the long-running punk spirit of that community and also to craft a brand-new sound for our times. It's easy to throw around Rocket From The Crypt references--because `Kill Surf City' is every bit as monstrous and alluring as `Live From Camp X-Ray' and `Scream, Dracula, Scream!'--but that doesn't do this band justice. Every single song on this record is fast, furious, fun, aggressive, and intoxicating from start to finish. Amazing, true punk with class-A vocals and murderous riffs, laced with horns. The Atom Age have got `it' (whatever `it' is), and in spades. Features The Queers' drummer Ryan on vocals and guitar. All hail the new punk.
