Simply Outstanding!,

This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
Like the author, I am former military man who sensed something very ominous on my first visit to Dealey Plaza in Dallas. It felt to me like an ambush site. Indeed, this is exactly what is was, as vividly depicted in Craig Roberts' excellent book.If you want to understand what really happened on this blackest day of American history, you simply must read this book. The chances are it will go quickly for you. I ordered the book through Amazon and found it on my door step on a Saturday evening. The following morning at 1:30am, I turned the final page of the narrative with the assurance that I finally understood what really happened on November 22, 1963 and, most importantly, why. In particular, I was intrigued that the author was led to investigate the facts through his warrior instincts and that his investigation led far beyond the scope of what he originally thought to be an unsolved murder. The trail of this investigation leads beyond the Mafia, the CIA, the FBI, the US military, and all of the usual suspects right up to the small group of extraordinarily powerful men who truly control this world. To Craig Roberts, Bravo Zulu! The good news is that, in the end, despite the sinister plotting of the terrible forces uncovered in this outstanding work, the good good guys will win and win huge!

Not What I Expected - Even Better,

This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
I bought this book expecting yet another perspective on the Kennedy assaination, that of a sniper. While I got some of that I got much more. It begins with some sniper insight (the author was a military sniper) and proceeds on to the normal discrepancies with the Kennedy autopsy and the many unanswered questions we have heard in many books before. But amidst all this is some interesting insight that is offered by the author, gained through his military experience and his former job of working on airplanes, the same kind that Air Force One (at the time) was converted from - the Boeing 707. With this information and with information obtained from Carlos Hatchock (who wrote his own excellent book titled "Marine Sniper, 93 Confirmed Kills) he explains the impossibility of the lone gunman theory. He explains in detail the many enemies that Kennedy made during his administration, The Mafia, The Military, The Cubans, The CIA, The Council on Foreign Relations, The FBI, Lyndon Johnson, the list sometimes seems endless. The book does take off into unexpected territory by progressing to areas such as MACV in Vietnam, Harry Truman, the assination of Abraham Lincoln, James Monroe, John D. Rockefeller, JP Morgan, Howard Hughes, Watergate and much more. But it is all tied together in the end with the final assumption of who killed JFK - and it is very believable. Every conspiracy book on the subject presents itself in ways to be believed by the readers. But this book touches on one point and presents it in clear and concise way that none of the other books I have read can. It answers the question, "Who could pull off a conspiracy of this magnitude and have enough power and influence to cover it up for 40 years, even though every free thinking individual would know it was a consipiracy?" The answer is in this book! What an eye opener and a theory that bears more research. I rate this book at 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I feel the title a bit misleading and people will buy it that do not want this type of research to smack them in the face. If that was intentional by the author I believe it was a stroke of genius to get his information across but yet a bit unfair to the unsuspecting purchaser. Read this book, think on it, and be amazed!

Exposing what the U.S. Government hid from the public,
By
This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
If you want a comprehensive and thorough investigation of the JFK assassination and the real answers and players, this would be an excellent place to start. Craig Roberts has painstakingly spent hour upon hour researching his material and has government documentation (included in the book) to boot.So much of what you read here was never researched by the Warren Commission, never revealed by the mass media, and covered up by the FBI and other governmental agencies to mislead the American public. The original JFK investigation (Warren Commission, etc.) was, without a doubt, one of the most heinous, deplorable, and saddest travesties of justice ever forced on the American public. This book will show you why and open your eyes. Not only does Craig Roberts investigate the assassination, later in the book you will find very revealing information and names involved in power structures that have played a part in very significant happenings in the history of this country. It's not a pretty picture and if you are a patriotic, down to earth American citizen, you will probably find yourself angry and disgusted with what has happened to America and her citizens. And you'll have every right to feel that way. If you find this book revealing, you should also read Craig Roberts book JFK: The Dead Witnesses. This explores in detail all of the mysterious and unusual deaths that have surrounded those who were connected to the JFK assassination either directly or indirectly. Last but not least, if you want an explosive account of government cover-ups and conspiracies all the way from World War II germ warfare up to the downing of TWA Flight 800 and everything in-between, Craig Roberts book THE MEDUSA FILE will make your hair stand on end. You would not believe what our government has done over the years; it is absolutely astonishing. And most of the public doesn't know any of it. All these books are recommended reading for those who want the complete truth and aren't afraid to confront some very scary and disturbing information. In fact, these books should probably be required reading for all Americans so that they can begin to understand how our government sees itself as "above the law".

A fascinating look at global power across time and nations,
By A Customer
This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
A _fascinating_ look at power above, below and throughout government agencies during Kennedy's era, and more importantly, the tracing of global power throughout the past centuries.Drawing together an impressive amount of data gathered through research, Roberts paints a picture of behind-the-scenes power, and conspiracy theories about JFK's assassination. These theories are tied into the rise of the Rothschild family, international banking, and the economics of war. A VERY mind-opening read. Even if you don't agree with any of it, Especially if you don't agree with it, this book is a must read for insights into the games of power politics and money. This book is to macro world-scope power what _The Prince_ by Nicolo Machiavelli is the national politics. As another reviewer said, the title is a bit misleading, as this book is far more vast in scope than just the Kennedy assassination. Ever wonder why there are no conspiracy theories about his brother Robert? Maybe the conspirators learned their lesson after the Dallas mess-ups? That would be a _very_ interesting investigation in and of itself. All of the above is imho, of course.

If you want to know how the world REALLY works, read this book! The title is a bit mis-leading but it will become clear later why it's like that. Not a bunch of theories and half-cocked stories, this book is well reserched and lots of evidence put forth. One glaring example is certain people's rise to the annals of power in America and how they got there. John Kennedy learned the hard way; don't mess with someones livelyhood. In this case the global bankers and the Federal Reserve. Read this book and you'll know who REALLY runs this country and why our Founding Fathers were so dead set against a central banking system!

It FINALLY all makes sense,

This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
This man Craig Roberts, a Colonel in the U S Marines and a sniper, a chopper pilot and a career cop and investigator, lays out the crime against our nation in a way only a real cop could. It is clear he is not just another author trying to sell books; this is a detailed investigation of the assassination that finally brings the truth into focus instead of leaving you more confused; you know what really happened and can argue it like a detective or a prosecutor.
The 1st third of the book has so much investigative detail I struggled to stay focused, but boy was I glad I did! The book then goes into a huge investigation and tie-ins that reveals what is REALLY going on in our country and how and why it is. Once I worked through the initial details I couldn't literally put it down. My teenage kids thought I was losing it. Col. Roberts is a man's man; a true hero and patriot. He not only risked life and limb receiving the purple heart in Vietnam, but he went on to be a hero for the people at home and still is. If we could get around the CFR monopoly on politics we should pray that some day a man like Colonel Roberts will be our president. In the mean time wake up from the matrix and get the real answer to the Kennedy assassination and other cover-ups so you can have some closure and hope for the future of our nation. Time to lock and load citizens. [...]

You Too Can Predict the Future,

This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
WOW. I had just finished reading "A Creature from Jekyll Island", by G. Edward Griffin, when I was given "Kill Zone", by Craig Roberts, from a completely different (and unrelated) person. These are two extraordinary books that fit together with other items that I know about the Year 2000. There are very, VERY interesting "coincidences". A MUST READ for those tracing the most powerful finance and influence structures of the world. Both of these books, while powerful in their own right, are much better when taken TOGETHER! Well annotated with declassified materials, "Kill Zone" gives you excellent insight into the motives and businesses of the people who made the most money on the Vietnam War. These books, along with "A Sovereign Individual", by Davidson and Rees-Mogg, and "Critical Path", by R. Buckminster Fuller, give you an amazingly clear view of where our world is headed. Are you ready for the ride?

Kill Zone-Kennedy revisited,
By
This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
I've always been interested in finding out what really happened when JFK was assassinated. I've read dozens of books on the topic, but never felt my questions were all addressed. This book covers every aspect of the assassination and was well written. It dragged a little in the middle, covered a great deal of minutia, but overall was an excellently written book and I believe he has traced the facts to their source. This is the first book I've ever read on this topic that I believe has all the answers to the Kennedy assassination.

Where there's smoke, there's fire!,
By Shawn Kovacich "Author of the Achieving Kicki... (The Greatest Little City in the World) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
Immediately upon reading this book I knew in my heart that the author had hit upon a highly probable answer to the question that has been lurking in the minds of millions since that dreadful day in Dallas. Now I am not going to go into specifics in this review, rather I am going to relate in my own way why I think the author is right and I would encourage you to get a copy of this book and read it and form your own opinion.
If you look at a magician, his primary purpose is not to entertain you with feats of magic, but more along the lines of deceiving you into believing that which he (the magician) presents to you as the truth and in doing so, makes you believe that which he wants you to believe. Actually I guess a better way of saying it is that the magician presents his deception to you in such a way that your subconscious convinces your consciousness to believe wholeheartedly in that which was presented to you by the magician. Now I know that this seems to be way of course with the subject matter of this review, but trust me, it is actually dead on. Now we all know that a certain group, or collection, of individuals was responsible for the death of Kennedy. Now do we know for certain who they were and their names? No, but we do know that they did exist and I am sure that some of them may still be alive to this day, although the longer that time passes the greater the probability that they will expire from old age without every being tried for their crimes, at least as we know it. Now if your ultimate goal is the eradication of a certain person, it really doesn't matter to you how that eradication takes place, or who does it, as long as the goal is accomplished. Of course you wouldn't want any of it traced back to you, which is why you want to have someone else do it. Or better yet, have someone else do it with a motive so far removed from your own that the odds of anyone even remotely suspecting you would be likened to the proverbial needle in a haystack and someone that will kill the person for you without even knowing that they did. All the time thinking that they were killing that person for their own reasons. Now to better enhance your chances of never being suspected, let's multiply that by several times and you now have a smokescreen of epic proportions with the finger pointing at several different organizations or persons with each one having a slightly different motive. None of which are even close to your own. See the beauty of it already? In law enforcement there is an old saying that goes something like this, "If you want to find out who did it, follow the money." And that is exactly what the author does. Let's look at the most common theories on who was responsible for killing Kennedy. Please take note that I did not say who killed Kennedy, but who was responsible for killing Kennedy. Remember what I said earlier about getting someone else to do it for you. 1. Lee Harvey Oswald - acting alone RIDICULOUS 2. The Mafia - NOPE 3. The CIA - NOPE 4. The Cubans - NOPE 5. The Russians - NOPE 6. Aliens from outer space - I KNOW REALLY RIDICULOUS, BUT AREN'T THE OTHERS JUST AS BAD! Now I am not implying that some of these didn't have a role in it, I am just saying that they are not responsible for it. Who is? Well purchase this book and read it. I believe that if you do that, this book will more than answer that question. All of those people and/or groups listed are merely the smoke, and you all know that where there's smoke there's fire, and this book shows you the fire.

1 of the best books I have read on the subject.,
By Frank (Hacienda Heights, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza (Paperback)
I will just quote from the book itself:
""How in the world could anyone look at that {Zapruder} film and say that the fatal head strike had come from the rear? The so-called experts who stated that the rearward jerk of Kennedy's head was due to 'muscle reaction,' 'jet force from an erupting bullet' or some other violation of the laws of physics, had obviously never served in combat, where witnessing high-velocity bullet strikes was commonplace..." "Some of the supporters of the Warren Commission...stated that the bullet came from the rear because the eruption of brain matter and blood came out of the front of the president's skull. I saw something else. In a head shot, the exit wound, due to the buildup of hydrostatic pressure, explodes in a conical formation in the down-range direction of the bullet. Yet in the Zapruder film, I could plainly see that the eruption was not a conical shape to the front of the limo, but instead was an explosion that cast fragments both up and down in a vertical plane, and side to side in a horizontal plane. There was only one explanation for this: an exploding or 'frangible' bullet. Such a round explodes on impact--in exactly the manner depicted in the film." A seasoned veteran (sniper) of the Vietnam war stood at the `snipers-nest' and released it was all a lie; nuff said. |
