5.0 out of 5 stars CUBE'S BEST
KILL AT WILL is Ice Cube's most thought provoking body of work. Along with Chuck D's "Welcome to the Terrordome"(Fear of a Black Planet) the "Product" is an all-time hip-hop classic standout. 3.0 out of 5 stars 1990
Ice Cube dropped this EP a few months after N.W.A released 100 Miles and Runnin' just to show fans that he could match them step for step.
"Dead Homiez" and "Jackin for Beats" were the singles.
These 7 tracks are included on the re-masterd version of AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, so just buy that and get all the songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars CUBE'S BEST, May 2, 2000
KILL AT WILL is Ice Cube's most thought provoking body of work. Along with Chuck D's "Welcome to the Terrordome"(Fear of a Black Planet) the "Product" is an all-time hip-hop classic standout. It combines poetic/metaphoric lyrics that detail the "American Justice System" and its production of imprisoned impoverished Black youth....simply genius. When Cube isn't being political on this ep, he still shines with "Jackin' for Beats" and "Get of My D*ck N*g and........." both are humorus and creative. I'm not the biggest Cube fan now but there was a time when he was creating music that was "ART" and came from the "SOUL". Recently, I shared the "Product" with a classroom of teenaged students to demonstrate literary allusion and artistry in hip-hop and they were blown away by his tale that lead from physical conception to incarceration.....Check it out!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cube Was On A Roll {4 Stars}, July 26, 2006
This review is from: Kill at Will (Audio CD)
This album came out during a period in which Ice Cube simply couldn't do any wrong. Everything he dropped was golden and Kill At Will was no exception. Though it was only 6 tracks deep (JD's Gafflin' Pt. 2 is an interlude), it was just as strong as, if not stronger than, a lot of the other 1990 rap albums. Classics like "Dead Homies" and "Jackin' For Beats" make grabbing this a good idea, but there are also great tracks like "The Product" and "Endangered Species" [Remix] that make this a must have album.

As with most dope albums, the only thing I can find wrong is the short length, but it's an EP so......

Kill At Will is probably one of the better EPs out there in the rap world. This was back when Cube was on a roll and dropped dope album after dope album every year. It plays more like a b-side to Amerikkka's Most Wanted, but I'd say that that's a good thing. If you want to hear what Ice Cube sounded like when he was still hungry, then I recommend grabbing this if you can find it.

Standout Tracks: The Product, Jackin' For Beats, Dead Homies, Endangered Species [Remix] feat. Chuck D, and Get Off My D**k And Tell Yo B**ch To Come Here [Remix]

5.0 out of 5 stars Every song is good, December 15, 2002

This review is from: Kill at Will (Audio CD)
Every song on this seven track EP is good. Although it only has 7 tracks, I'm reviewing this based on the quality, not quantity. This reminds me alot of Amerikkka's Most Wanted which is a good thing since it is one of the best albums of all time. "Dead Homies" and "The Product" are 2 Cube classics that, unfortunately, not many people have heard since it is on this hard to find EP. If you can find it, buy it immediately, but good luck doing so.

4.0 out of 5 stars The only song heard on here is "Dead Homiez", May 4, 2000

I don't have this album, but I heard "Dead Homiez" which is the first gangsta rap song that is dedictated to their homies who died from gang violence. Without this song, than there wouldn't be "Tha Crossroads, "Life Goes On" or "I Miss My Homies". By the way, when are the amazon.com people are going to stock this album?

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for any Cube fan, October 28, 1999

This is a great CD, just another example of Ice Cube's talent. It includes a few Ice Cube classics like "Jackin for the Beats" and a few other choice hits. If you love Ice Cube you can't miss this CD.

NOTHING REALLY GOOD CAME OUT IN 1990 AND IF IT WAS GOOD THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE FEW ALBUMS. THIS IS LOADED WITH PLENTY OF OLD SCHOOL BEATS AND A STYLE THAT CUBE STILL USES TODAY. GET THIS ALBUM IF YOU ARE ESPECIALLY INTO THE OLD SCHOOLB STYLE AND.

5.0 out of 5 stars Right on the money, March 19, 2008
This review is from: Kill at Will (Audio CD)
If you love Cube's first 3 albums and want more of that style, get this. If you like "Today was a good day" then don't bother with it. It's superb. Funky, poignant, hard, all that. It is the Lynch Mob through and through.
