Some of the locals aren't happy that Jeff and his family have moved into their small, rural community. When two sinister men tamper with Jeff's water pump, a fight breaks out among the three. Managing to fend off both assailants and return home, Jeff is soon visited by an avenging mob. Their claim is that one of the men who fought Jeff has died. Knowing that he is innocent of this suspicious death, Jeff breaks into a sprint, escaping into the nearby woods. A good well acted story but the video quality is poor. The plot is a bit contrived but they only had an hour. Made for television from the book "The Hills have no Shadows" it appears to be recorded in "kinescope" but certainly the darks are very dark and the brights are very bright. A plus is the scene with Grace acting tough with a rifle.

The newsreel footage of the wedding and the early days of baby Caroline are fun.

This is a great classic thriller! I would buy it again. If you love classics, you'll love this.
