5.0 out of 5 stars My Review On Who Killed The Homecoming Queen, March 29, 2000
By
Sunila (Queens, New York) - See all my reviews
This book is about a girl named Tania. She is very popular and when she is named Homecoming Queen terrifying things start to happen. This all started when she learned her friends were keeping a secret from her.Her boyfriend was cheating on her and she was the only one who didn't know about it.The whole book is based on a video for college that a fellow classmate was filming to get into a special video school. He wanted it to be a horror video and picked Tania as the lead actress.Tania has a low blood sugar problem and when she faints on the set everyone starts to panic. This is how she fakes her disappearance to get back at them. While everyone is running around crazily, calling for an ambulance and hyperventilating she decides to put her plan into action. Her friends find out the whole truth and who the killer is.Cherise(who was later learned to be the killer)tried to pin the blame on Tania's brother. She killed Tania's boyfriend when she found out that he was pretending to like her just for a video. She was captured and taken to the police.Everyone then returns to their never again normal life. My opinion was that this is a very good, exciting, thrilling book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little shock in life. It is a very good book for thriller readers everywhere like myself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Killer, April 20, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Who Killed the Homecoming Queen? (Fear Street, No. 48) (Mass Market Paperback)
One book I recently read was Who Killed The Homecoming Queen? by R.L Stine. It's a book out of his Fear Street series. This book is so wonderful. It's about a girl named Tania. Her life is going great. She gets a cute boyfriend, she gets a new stepbrother, she gets voted homecoming queen, and she gets to star in one of her friend's films. Suprised by all this her "enemy" Leslie gets jealous. Tania has everything Leslie's ever wanted. Then one day while shooting the film she starred in, her friends find her on the bleachers-limp and lifeless. Just as they get back from dialing 911, they come back with the paramedics only to find empty bleachers. They couldn't find Leslie any where around. And while the paramedics are questioning them on if it's all a joke, they are trying to figure out what happened to Tania. Now a whole feud begins on who really killed the homecoming queen? I would recommend this book to those who like to read suspenseful books or stories. The other good thing about the book, other than it's suspenseful is that it deals with kids close to our age- which I think makes it more interesting.

By A Customer
This review is from: Who Killed the Homecoming Queen? (Fear Street, No. 48) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book reflects Stine at his best. He uses betrayal, anger and ultimately murder. this book was so exciting that I couldn't put it down till it was finished.
