this guy was my wifes uncle. she told me for years that he had a record contract and i must admit like any good husband it went out the other ear. then we found a 45 (that's a record kids) of him which after hearing made me order this c.d. holy cow batman, this cat could sing. if he had chosen to pursue his career stronger (he just wanted to be home) he could have given ANY country singer from that time a run.just good old country backwoods angel singing with good background players. give it a listen.

Following the link to the music label site [...] , you will find a
record label Bio of the creator and owner, who was also an award winning author who's songs earned a
gold label, a Red Hot label, and many popular Country and Blues songs.

This album is not only a memorial for the Artist/Performer Ked Killen, but also to the Author and/or Shared Composer and Recording Label Owner, who wrote and recorded over 200 songs.

The album is Country, Cowboy Blues, Rockabilly, and Folk, with 1950's-60 style and sound. One can feel the history. The songs written by label owner Esther Casteel, tell part of her real life experiences. The Native American Woman married a Cowboy.

This one of a kind musical, vocal mix gives you a picture of grass roots country and cowboy blues, romance, and a little down home and sentiment. The message is definitely music history, a memorial, and who these pioneers of Country, Western, Blues and Folk songs were.
