Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Stuck behind the 8 ball? Grab your cue and prepare for some Killer 3D pool.

Features:

  • 15 different AI opponents
  • Four different variants on pool
  • Multiplayer games
Killer 3D pool pits you against a friend or a computer opponent in four different games of billiards. You don't need a fancy nickname to knock the balls solid into the pocket, just a keen eye for angles and knowledge of your own strength.

Play a game of English 8-Ball, U.S. 9-Ball, U.S. 8-Ball, or Killer pool. In Killer pool, you lose a point every time you miss a shot. The person to run out of points first loses the game.

You choose from four computer players at the start but can unlock 11 more players by winning games. Play against the AI or challenge one of your friends to a game. Two people can play either by the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable or by just handing the GBA to the next person when it's their turn to shoot.

The physics aren't as advanced as some of the pool games you'll see, and sometimes it's difficult to determine how hard of a shot you should hit. Hence, you'll need to play a while to get a sense of how hard to strike a ball. However, the game follows the rules accurately and challenges you in every rack.

Bottom Line

It's not up to Minnesota Fats's standards, but Killer 3D Pool should satisfy your billiards fix.

Product Description

Killer 3D Pool gives you the chance to rule a pool table at your local bar. Play against 15 computerized opponents of varying skills, as you master the games that earn you respect.

I bought this game thinking it was going to have good graphics, I was wrong. Overall, the game is OK, but that's about it, OK.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good game, January 6, 2009

My son loves this game and plays it a lot. I have not compared this to other similar games. It is pretty easy to use and there is at least an overhead view which helps when making shots. Definitely get it from one of the vendors with the cheaper price. Amazon lists it for $49 but you can get it for around $10-15 (NEW).
