Stuck behind the 8 ball? Grab your cue and prepare for some
Killer 3D pool. Features:
- 15 different AI opponents
- Four different variants on pool
- Multiplayer games
Killer 3D pool pits you against a friend or a computer opponent in four different games of billiards. You don't need a fancy nickname to knock the balls solid into the pocket, just a keen eye for angles and knowledge of your own strength.
Play a game of English 8-Ball, U.S. 9-Ball, U.S. 8-Ball, or Killer pool. In Killer pool, you lose a point every time you miss a shot. The person to run out of points first loses the game.
You choose from four computer players at the start but can unlock 11 more players by winning games. Play against the AI or challenge one of your friends to a game. Two people can play either by the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable or by just handing the GBA to the next person when it's their turn to shoot.
The physics aren't as advanced as some of the pool games you'll see, and sometimes it's difficult to determine how hard of a shot you should hit. Hence, you'll need to play a while to get a sense of how hard to strike a ball. However, the game follows the rules accurately and challenges you in every rack.
Bottom Line
It's not up to Minnesota Fats's standards, but Killer 3D Pool should satisfy your billiards fix.
