Kool G. Rap and DJ Polo are one of the greatest duos in rap history. Kool G. Rap has dropped some of the nicest rhymes and disses ever heard and to add to this his lisp voice that gives him style. The types of beats these guys drop are beats that are truly unique, rough, and rugged. If you listen closely to the rhymes you will get a laugh or two, especially on the track "Truly Yours." This compilation is a greatest hits of their best albums and I would advise the true hip-hop fan to purchase this immediately and find out exactly what I'm talking about if you haven't done so already. Oh yeah by the way, they represent Queens not Brooklyn but it's all good. PEACE!

Kool G Rap & DJ Polo has to be one of the most respected duos in Hip-Hop history. Their musical contrbutions are enormous! G Rap represents the "trilogy" (Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap) of MC's that would represent the "second coming" of lyrical giants that emerged in the mid '80's. This CD has nothing but the classics. The "LANDSPEED" edition has these same songs, plus a few extra on their CD, but it'll cost you a bit more. Still, an excellent CD to own and highly recommended for it's future collector's value.

Anything that is G Rap is pure gold, and this compilation is no exception. G Rap is not from Broooklyn though; he is from Corona, Queens (NYC).
