Editorial Reviews

Deluxe repackaging includes bonus tracks and new cover art. 2011 debut solo album from Pussycat Dolls lead singer and TV celebrity Nicole Scherzinger. Killer Love was recorded between the United States and France and includes collaborations with Enrique Iglesias and Sting. Single 'Poison' is a feisty, energetic slice of Electro-Pop, packed full of attitude, while Scherzinger's excellent vocals prove she is just as good going solo as she is with the rest of the Dolls.

This is the repackaged version released in November 2011 that now includes 7 Top 10 singles including both versions of "Right There" (Original and remix with 50 Cent) along with the new track "Tomorrow Never Dies."

If you enjoy Rihanna or Katy Perry then this cd should also be in your collection. There is no logical reason as to why Nicole is not as massive as star as the two artists I jus listed. Great upbeat tracks and soulful ballads with collaborations from Sting, Enrique and 50 Cent.

This cd will probably (hopefully) be released in early 2012 in North America and finally her moment to take center stage will arrive!

I was not expecting much from her in this album but gave each individual tracks sporadic listening whenever I have the time. Had listened to Don't Hold Your Breath and boy it is an amazing song that does I have come across with the most delightful hooks. The rest of the tracks in this album is just fantastic. She was amazing vocals and the production is not overly polished and what with all the autotuning around. This is a pure pop album which I would recommend to anyone

Nicole Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the multi-platinum girl group The Pussycat Dolls. After an attempt at a solo album in 2007 by 2009 she and the rest of the dolls were ready to spread thier solo wings. In March 2011 Nicole realeased Killer Love her official debut solo album. The album intended to introduce Nicole to the masses ( well at least the masses of Europe as to date the album has not been officially realeased in North America, though most Americans already knew of her anyway.) As well as show Nicole's talent ( she is a classicially trained opera singer with quite a soprano range, as seen on her performance of Phantom Of The Opera at the Royal Veriety in 2011.) Does it hit the mark? I think it does but as more of an opening act of what Nicole can accomplish as her solo career continues to rise.
1.)Poison: The first single and not a bad one though it doesn't exactly show Nicole's vocal chops but that's ok. It's flirty, sassy, fun and easy to sing and dance to. "That bad girl power I got I'll abuse it tonight cause tonight I got poison on my mind!" Nicole snarls on the fast moving track with nice studio effects to match the feel of the song. Red One ( who produced most of the album)did his thing on this one. 10/10
2.) Killer Love: The title track about wait for it... being with a bad boy who you know is no good for you but his "killer love" keeps you coming back. Yes this topic has been beaten like a dead horse by every female pop/dance/r&b/rock artist for the last few years. This one isn't too bad and the rock and roll feel helps you get past the semi-cheesy lyrics. 7/10
3.)Don't Hold Your Breath: The second single ( and the one that hit #1 on the UK charts no less) is a gem IMO.

I was very upset to hear that the CD was never "officially" released to the United States. I was very happy when I saw it on Amazon. The music works great for a workout CD. I highly recommend.

With all the talent that Nicole has, she did not display it on this CD. I was very disappointed with all of the cuts on it. I hope that her future cut are better than Killer Love. Very unhappy with this CD.

Every song is a hit, unlike some albums that you might regret buying! I don't know why this album hasn't be released to the iTunes Store in America - it would be hugely popular.
