In this book presentations guru Nicholas Oulton sets out a revolutionary approach that will allow you to use Power Point - TM - to exponentionally multiply the power of your presentations. You will radically increase the chances of impressing your audience and achieving your objectives. Using tried and tested principles, Nicholas shows how - through practical, systematic thinking and overhauling your attitude to the visual aids you use - you can ditch bad old habits and bring your presenatations to vivid life. You will enhance the clarity of what you put over, and fire the imagination of your audience. This second edition has a completely new chapter on Web Presenting and links to several online seminars as well as a chapter on how to make your presentation content more memorable by using m62's Passive Mnemonic Processing techniques. The book illustrates its approach clearly and in detail, using real life examples from clients of Nicholas' company, m62, including Microsoft itself. A series of 40 color-images show how such slides can powerfully impress. Additionally, the book provides unique links to a website where you can see more about how this step change in presentational technique works in action.

This review is from: Killer Presentations: Power the Imagination to Visualise Your Point - With Power Point (Paperback)
This book will change the way you think about your presentations and, hopefully, change the world of PowerPoint bullet charts. The process that the author describes takes more thought and work when preparing a presentation, but the quality can be raised dramatically. This is a good book for anyone who wants to give truly effective presentations that connect with the audience.

3.0 out of 5 stars Presented repeatively, September 11, 2010
This review is from: Killer Presentations: Power the Imagination to Visualise Your Point - With Power Point (Paperback)
Although it inspired a new way of thinking about how I put together my PowerPoint presentations, I was ultimately disappointed with this book. It told how, but didn't show how. Also, it bogged in the detail of the sample presentations. Perhaps a PowerPoint presentation would have sufficed instead of reading the book
