We were told about this cook book project of several mystery writers, one of whom, our favorite - Keith Donnelly, suggested this purchase. He is one of several contributors. We have here
a good idea of a group of caring people with another something special they have in common with one another. The success of the project (= sale$) will put profits into a fund for cancer. So this is a "2-fer." And everyone benefits. So it's a 3-fer! It makes a wonderful gift for birthdays and upcoming holidays!

What a pleasure to be able to contribute to this compilation of seductive and scrumptious menu items. Do not be afraid to try any of these concoctions. We only write about murder and poison, we don't participate in them. Proceeds for this book go to the American Cancer Society to help wipe out a scourge to us all. Please send copies as a gift. Christmas is not too far away. Help us make this a benefit to all. After all, we are really nice people. We just write about nasty characters.

Talk about recipes to die for! This cookbook contains recipes from mystery writers from across the world. I was happy to submit five Southern recipes for the book and proud that all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. We have all been touched by this dreaded disease and it's a wonderful feeling being able to contribute toward its cure. Christmas isn't too far away - what a great gift to give to a favorite someone, and to ACS.

What a fun cookbook and useful too. Susan Whitfield did an excellent job of gathering a great selection of recipes from her fellow mystery writers to make up this book. I found several recipes I have to try, and I've given copies of the book to friends for gifts. All in all this is a worthwhile addition to my cookbook collection.
