5.0 out of 5 stars Suspenseful
This book is great if you like supense and action. Jessica and Nick leave for a one-week vacation on a boat. When they try to help a stranger, things get twisted out of control. You won't want to put this one down!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Has anyone seen Dead Calm?
I have noticed this with a few Sweet Valley books, but more so with this one. Am I the only person who has seen Dead Calm? This was a complete rip-off...not simple the same premise, but practically the entire story, except the violence and sex toned down for teenagers! Were the writers of Dead Calm given a cut of the royalties? I should hope so...

Remember the movie Dead Calm..Sweet Valley loves to copy hit movies..and thats fine.It is another exciting page turning killer with Nick lured away and Jessica stuck on a boat with a dreadful killer

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Killer at Sea (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Paperback)
When i read the first few pages of this book i was like "wow Nick and Jessica alone this has gotta be interesting" but as the book went on it got really boring. This book is just full of fantasy rubbish!

I think people who love reading "boring fantasy books" should read this one.

"Francine should seriuosly start writing more interesting books cause im getting bored with her books!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, February 22, 1999
By A Customer

It was okay, although the plot was a bit far-fetched. I mean, so the guy was attracted to Jessica. So he goes and pretends he's stranded? And what are the odds of something like a "Killer at Sea" happening, anyway?
