I purchased the Killerspin dynamo last month, and I have to say it has performed quite well with my playing style. I used to play university/state a long time ago, and recently started playing again recreationally. My playing style is attacking, and this paddle has good speed, both forehand and backhand, and is good with spin too.

I usually play with folks that are not that experienced with table tennis, but playing with pro level butterfly etc paddles, and I have no problem running circles round them with this paddle. Overall I am very satisfied for the price and the quality.

Good paddle. I've only been playing for a couple of years but this paddle offers everything I could ask for. Worth the money.

This racket is great. Excellent spin. Makes the ball do some crazy things. Fast! Ball comes off this thing like it was shot out of a cannon! Only issue i have with it is its a little heavy but that helps with those monster slams. It definately takes some getting used to.

I never pay too much attention to the ratings put their by the manufacturer. The only way to like a racket is to try it, in my opinion.

Here is the reason this paddle is perfect for me.

1) I like to do slow heavy-backspin or subtle side-spin serves. This racket has a nice tacky red rubber that allows that very easily. The racket is slightly heavier which helps me maintain control on the serve. The handle fits comfortably as well.

2) I like to return serves by side-spinning them straight across the table. I mostly play doubles. The black rubber takes a lot of energy and spin away from the ball which allows me to put it practically anywhere.

3) Offensively, I hit the ball hard and with extreme top-spin and nice bounce. The 5ply wooden blade combined with the 2.0 mm sponge lets me hit the ball hard.

4) Defensively, I can more easily return hard shots by the opponent because of how much energy the racket takes away from the ball. Even if I aim the paddle where the ball hits it somewhere near the center, I can get it over the net like 95% of the time.

Overall ranking: beginner to intermediate racket.

may be it is my style of play, but i did not find the same effect the other reviewers were talking about... i think i have to find the sweet spots with this racket. for example, when i hit the forehand with the lower portion of the paddle, my opponents can't touch the ball (instead of playing it with the middle of the racket). hope this helps.

Bought this paddle and the Joola Smash and spent the weekend playing with a couple other intermediate/advanced players. The Kilerspin paddle is an excellent, balanced paddle which provides a good combination of power and control. Players who use alot of spin in their game and demand good control will especially like this paddle. The Joola had a slight advantage in power, but I felt the Killerspin had the definite edge for control, so your specific style of play will determine which paddle is better for you.

Bought this racket and was very impressed. Some people found it a bit too heavy but for me - getting back into table tennis having played at club level many years ago it handles very well. It provides good spin, very good speed, very good control. Result - Dramatically improved my win rate in local games.

The best thing about the paddle has good spin and speed. Control is OK.

My game earlier was just shots and with this new Paddle, I have added some spin to my game now. However the shot accuracy has reduced a bit.

I loved this paddles. It is a very well-rounded paddle, has speed, control, and decent amount of spin. I've had them for a while now, and still going strong. Will be buying these again in future.

The Killerspin Dynamo is a great paddle for the price. It has improved my game quite a bit. If you are looking to pick up your game without spending a lot of money, I definately reccomend this paddle.
