Absolute Defiance,
By "grindhead" (Connecticut USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Killing on Adrenaline (Audio CD)
Who ever knew such grinding brutality could come out of Maryland. As far as I'm concerned Dying Fetus is the best grinding metal band out today. Always sounded to me like the blended Suffocation's speed with Internal Bleeding's thick and nasty riffs to create songs that make you want to SMASH and BREAK. Killing On Adreniline never leaves the rotation in my CD player. It is one of the best releases of the new wave of underground metal. I love the screaming and the real deep gutteral vox, they mix them up perfectly. I'm glad to see Relapse added them to there roster. Do yourself a favor, if you like grind and death pick this CD up, no way in hell will it let you down.

Dying Fetus Rules!,
By Whitby (NJ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Killing on Adrenaline (Audio CD)
Another stunning album from my favorite death metal band. Clean drumming, killer riffs, and two unique vocalists with different tambres make this an awesome CD. The different vocal styles and riff variety keep the music from being repititve or boring. The only drawback I could find was the way the snare was tuned. I thought it sounded better on "Purification...", but that doesn't keep "Killing in Adreniline" from being one of the best death metal albums ever!

A MUST OWN Death Metal Album,
By LeechMaster (Northwest Indiana) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Killing on Adrenaline (Audio CD)
With Suffocation calling it quits (let's hope not permanantly) Dying Fetus stands atop the mountain of supreme brutal, technical death metal. This album is a masterpiece from start to finish. Their unique and creative riffs are only enhanced by incredibly tight percussion and a dual vocal approach. This band is the total package. (And they can definately pull it off live).
