I bought this CD back in 2006 at the See You On The Other Side tour with Korn and Mudvayne.... I saw "killing all that holds you" and was amazed, because I have never seen it in stores... and I have to say its an amazing cd.... A lot of great songs that include live acoustic versions of Wasteland, Through the Iris, and insects.... I love this album, songs.... songs like R.E.S.T. and Silhouette Of A Life are amazing songs..... I give this cd a 5/5 review!

I too had to obtain this by boot leg. But i can't find the original. This CD is great and is one of the best I own. Every song is a classic. If your wondering the Wasteland and Through the Iris and Slightyl different than the ones on The Autumn Effect.

1- Wasteland- Wasnt that impressed with this version, TAE's version is much better

2- Through the Iris- This version is a little differnt and not as good as TAE's, but not bad none the less.

3- Seven- a very good song, 9/10

4- R.E.S.T.- Brilliant,10/10

5- Blank Shell- Another brilliant track- 10/10

6- At A Loss- 8/10

7- Silhouette of a Life- Wow! amazing song!! 10/10

8- All White- 9/10

9- Magna-Phi- 9/10

10- Frailty- My favorite track on the album 10/10

11- Wasteland (live acoustic)- 10/10

13- Shelter(live acoustic) -9/10

This is a "KILLER" band!This album & especially their newest album are "Kick A--"! If you are a music lover & "ROCK" is your favorite style of music. You have to get both of "10 Years" cd's! Find Them, Buy Them,& Enjoy Them.By Rocking Out to them....! Cher!

This songs on this album are amazing, especially the 4 live songs that close the cd. Unfortunately people on amazon are constantly trying to rob you, so they charge insane prices; as high as $799.99!! DO NOT spend $800 for this cd! It is available at their live shows for $25.

I reviewed this cd about a month ago (it is probably below this one right now) and talked about how they needed to re-release this awesome album. Well, now on their website you can buy it for $20! I bought it at their concert in Philadelphia last night, but you don't need to see them live to get it anymore.

That is their official store's link. I don't know if this cd is still in-print or if they are just selling old copies, but at least it is availble for under $100. Everyone who tried to sell it for that much should be ashamed of themselves.
Also, if you have the chance to see 10 Years in concert, DO IT. They were great, and I met them afterwards and they were really nice guys too.

This album is one of their best. The live acoustic versions at the end are amazing. You get to hear another side of their songs "Wasteland" and "Through the Iris", because they were originally on this cd. Also, the songs Silhouette of a Life and Shelter are two of 10 Years's best tracks. I recommend this to anyone who loves 10 Years, especially "The Autumn Effect" album. 5/5.

For every album that is released in remastered versions and "deluxe" editions, there is a hidden gem like this that hasn't really seen the light of day. I have had the mp3's of this for a couple years, but have only recently started to listen to it heavily, and it is a great album. 10 Years is one of my favorite bands, I love The Autumn Effect and Division. This has some great songs on it too. I really like the acoustic versions of songs, including "Shelter," which I don't believe is available anywhere else. This cd would totally be worth the asking price, if that price wasn't $150 - $200.

Basically, 10 Years NEEDS to re-release this album. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to own a copy, rather than just listening to low-quality mp3 rips. A similar situation I know of is the band Staind's "Tormented" debut album. It has been hard to find ever since the band made it big in the late '90s, and is currently going for at least $74 here on Amazon. However, I saw them in concert this summer and bought a brand new copy for $10, and last I checked you could buy it at their website for about that price.

I know the band 10 Years cares about their fans, and I don't blame them for the horrible distribution of this cd. But they need to find a way to release it again and I'm sure it would sell well.

For those of you that don't have this debut from 10 Years and can't secure without paying the outrageous price of [...] for a used copy let me offer a suggestion. [...]. As long as you don't mind just the download then you'll have this fantastic cd. Great first effort from this band. Even though when I reviewed Division I thought the vocals might be a little redundant especially after 'The Autum Effect', I've actually grown to really like this band more and more with each listen. 'Division' is a stellar effort and rivals anything out there on the rock / alternative scene. 'Killing All That Holds You' does the same and with the bonus tracks is a great addition to your collection. Don't hesitate to purchase this, but don't spend the 100 dollars that these used sellers are asking for (Amazon blocked where I got the download for this cd at a very reasonable price). They're just out there to make a huge profit on a cd that is out of print, period. Even though I hit the four stars by mistake it's definitely worth the five star rating and although my point here was to make everyone aware that this cd is available out there as a download each song on this cd is excellent and it will not disappoint 10 Years fans.

First off, to the person selling their copy for over $200, you should be ashamed. Price gouging makes babies cry. Also, KATHY isn't their first album. They had one calling Into the Half Moon with a different singer in 2001, which is also impossible to find now.

Moving on, I got one of the last few copies from 10 Years' website before they were sold out. If you have only heard The Autumn Effect and Division, I implore you to somehow find this cd. It has several of their best songs. Wasteland and Through The Iris are on this cd in both acoustic and slightly different studio versions than what is found on The Autumn Effect. Wasteland is almost exactly the same, but Through The Iris is a totally different recording. I think the KATHY version is better, personally. It's a heavier 10 Years, with many hints of what was to come for the band.

Find this cd and love it!!!
