Book Description

You hate your horrible boss. You're not alone. And for good reason. Your boss is a complete jerk and everybody knows it.

If you have ever imagined what it would be like to send your horrible boss to his or her early demise, KILLING MY BOSS is the "Youdunit" book you've been waiting for.

From the devious minds of bestselling and award-winning author MARK YOSHIMOTO NEMCOFF, ("The Killing of Osama Bin Laden", "Where's My F*cking Latte?", "Number One with a Bullet"), comes KILLING MY BOSS. Featuring six delicious tales of revenge taken on some of the worst bosses you could imagine, "Killing My Boss" is a thrilling symphony of murder and mayhem that will keep you turning pages until each jaw-dropping conclusion.

KILLING MY BOSS is a literary six-shooter that will let you feel the satisfaction of murdering your boss... without ever having to worry about going to jail for it!

This book also makes a wonderful gift. Send it to those you know suffer under the tyranny of horrible bosses everywhere... or even send one to the boss you hate!

"Nemcoff's stories cut to the chase -- blistering action meets brutal reality on the way to over-the-top, big-budget finishes."

- NYT Bestselling author, SCOTT SIGLER

"Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff's work blends the best elements of the noir, horror and thriller genres. Gritty and compelling, his writing is masterfully paced, pulls narrative tension as taut as piano wire ... and then goes for the throat. Supremely talented, Nemcoff crafts finely-tuned muscle car fiction: delightful, determined and dangerous."

-J.C. HUTCHINS, author of Personal Effects: Dark Art and 7th Son: Descent

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Collection of Stories July 10, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
At one point in time, EVERYONE has had a boss that was horrible to work for.
Deep in everyone's heart, there was a time when they thought "this job would be so much better if that boss would just die".
This book walks you through people putting that thought into action!

This book is not for the weak of stomach - there are some graphic scenes, but it isn't gratuitous and fits the tone of the book nicely.

Anyone that is familiar with Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff's vast array of work will recognize several of his stories as well as enjoying the new twists they take to fit the theme of the book. As usual, his work is witty, fast paced, and impossible to put down.

This is the first material of Colin F. Barnes that I've read/heard and I'm impressed. If Mark writes from a "Dark Place" Colin is writing from the darkest corner of that dark place - its very twisted, in an entertaining way. I'm looking forward to seeing more of his work!

This book is a quick read, action packed, and the stories all fit together well, download and enjoy.

And if you are questioning your management skills, perhaps this book will motivate you to start treating your employees a little bit better!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Read August 8, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I don't normally read this type of novel, especially one by two authors, but I have to admit that once I stared this arsenal of short stories, I was hooked and the book soon became my free time companion while on a recent trip.

I'm sure we have all had bad bosses at times and with the thought of killing one or two always furthest from my mind, the execution, (excuse the pun), of said tales is astounding.

Both Colin and Mark have managed to suck me into knowing their dark, dirty little secrets, making me almost an accomplice at worst or an eye witness at the very least.

If you like your crime dark, sympathetic, surprising and realistic then I suggest you take a shot at this novel, which is far safer than taking a shot at you're own boss.

Thank you gentlemen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, fun read July 21, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great collection of six short stories. I've listened to and read Mark's books for years, and was pleasantly surprised by new-to-me Colin Barnes. The stories were fun to read, and flowed nicely. No down time from the start of the book to the finish - I could not put it down, even in between stories. The stories can be graphic, but all were very believable - well plotted with sympathetic characters. Loved the stories.

A comical treat. Short stories tabulating a series of horrible bosses been delivered somewhat horrific consequences for their deeds. Little unusual and definitely quite shocking.
