5.0 out of 5 stars A Haunting Thriller About How War Changes People, August 20, 2001
A Kid's Review
I have to start out by saying that this was my all time favorite book. Goosebumps formed every time one of Ellie or her friends were close to getting caught. Sometimes I found myself holding my breath as they ran from danger or were forced into to killing cold blooded. I cried when Robyn lost her life saving the others. I never once found myself bored rather I was captivated by this book as it whisked me off to the front lines in Australia. I don't think I put "A Killing Frost" down for five hours as I absourbed every detail about this thrilling story. The description was exceptional and the way the author described the changes in each character as time progressed left me wondering what would happen to me in that situation.

Third in John Marsden's "Tomorrow" series, this book details what happens to Ellie and her friends (and fellow soldiers), as they continue to sabotage the enemy. This book is grimly realistic, as well as incredibly exciting, and the characters are very, very believable, even to the fallout and boredom. My only complaint is that only the first four or five have been released in the United States. A very good, exciting story.

5.0 out of 5 stars ONE OF THE BEST!, July 1, 2000

I think this book along with "burning for revenge"and "the other side of dawn"is one of the best.If you haven't read it yet I'd better not spoil it for you but they blow up something major ,get a little relief from the war and get one of their friends back.Idon't know why it's called "a killing frost" though because here in new zealand we call it" the third day the frost".Anyway READ THIS BOOK! just read the 1 and 2 first so you know what it's about
