4.0 out of 5 stars will this cd ever be re-released???
Unfortunately i don't have this cd, even though I have listened to it.
I must say it is quite quite good, it's much better than the songs I have listened from previous albums, and definitely nearer to my likes than the later works, which are danceable techno which is not my cup of tea.
This cd reminds of Skinny Puppy but it's not a copy, not at all, but they...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good early-90s EBM
I used to really enjoy this album when I was younger and into all things EBM... it really is superior to most other EBM albums released around the same time. There are a lot of bad English lyrics present, but the music is actually pretty good and catchy. Sound-wise, it's a lot like late-80s Front 242 with the darker atmosphere of late-80s Skinny Puppy mixed in. Lots of...

This cd reminds of Skinny Puppy but it's not a copy, not at all, but they made a quite personal style. However, I disagree with one of the other reviews. Do you think Skinny Puppy had no musical talents? wow, everyone has their own opinions, I respect it, needless to say, but Skinny Puppy was, to my mind, one of the most talented bands in the history of music.
X marks the pedwalk are not as good as Skinny puppy, but this cd, together with 'Human Desolation', are really a pleasure to listen to.
I wish i could get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, July 4, 2008
This review is from: Killing Had Begun (Audio CD)
This is one of my most favorite cds to listen to. I love Skinny Puppy too so i'm sure that's a big part of it but the songs make me dance around the room and car every time i hear them. A definite "must have" cd for the genre. Phat bass lines, makes subs happy ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars A must buy for avid industrial listeners., September 2, 1999
This review is from: Killing Had Begun (Audio CD)
This cd is one of the best industrial cds ever made. X Marks the Pedwalk sound like Skinny Puppy with musical talent. If you have never listened to them before, buy "The Killing Had Begun" first, then "Human Desolation", then "Freaks", and finally "Meshwork"(which is a total departure from their earlier recordings, but a five star album as well.

Sound-wise, it's a lot like late-80s Front 242 with the darker atmosphere of late-80s Skinny Puppy mixed in. Lots of baroque synthesizers and 4/4 beats. I would consider this a must-have album for any modern EBM fans (I know you kiddies are out there!).

Probably Sevren Ni-arb's (get it? Ha ha!) best effort other than Hyperdex-1-Sect.
