Excellent historical accuracy in times and places. Sometimes I questioned the authors interpretation of the thoughts of the victim and the perpetrator.

I enjoyed the historical information. There were lots of facts about which I was unaware. It was a good read, but fell off after the capture of Booth.

I purchased the book. I read the book. Well written in my opinion. I am not a history scholar, But an intellegent reader who can sift through fact and fiction and can make my own judgement on the veracity of alllegations made in any book. I found the book to be entertaining and informative. Yes, it is controversial because of the author and the content. That aside most folks are not even aware that there was any conspiracy. We were only taught in publicschool that there was an assassination, Lincoln died, life went on. Read it. Enjoy it, and maybe you can learn something along the way.

I purchased this book for my Kindle and the only downside I found was that I could not see the pictures/maps as well as I could with a hard cover book. I am planning to purchase it on tape so that when my wife and I take our next trip we can listen to it together. I found the story engrossing. I believe it is one of the best books I have read as it detailed a great man and an evil one.

I just finished "Killing Lincoln" and it is a sensational read. I am puzzled, however, by the negative reviews who talk of historical errors as though they were all Bill's fault. Have they forgotten the co-author, Martin Dugard, a well respected author of historical narratives? Bill O'Reilly checks facts and I'm sure the information is correct. This book makes history come alive, from the final days of the war to the capture and punishment of the culprits. It makes this terrible tragedy real, as though it just happened. Congratulation to Mr O"Reilly and Mr Dugard for giving us a book that was impossible to put down.

This book was recommened to me from several different people. Some of whom are complete opposites (politically speaking) and who hate Bill O'Reilly with a passion. My interest was piqued and I am so glad that it was. I really enjoyed this book and read through it in record time (for me). Prior to reading this book I knew only the basics about Lincoln's assassination, and not much more about the President himself. I was fascinated even by the details of the last battles, which generally is not something that will hold my attention. I will and have recommended this book already!

I like Bill O'Reilly and the book was pretty good, my son liked it better, not as interesting as I thought it would be but worth it for my son to read.

This book reads like an action thriller novel. But it is all true. If you think you know a lot about the Lincoln assasination, you're probably wrong.

Well written and researched. John Wilkes Booth created his own tragedy and that of a nation. Wonder what happened to Booth when he fled Ford's Theater?
