HELL OF A RECORD !!!!, November 22, 2004
This is a reunion record in which Charlie Harper and Nicky Garrat depart a little from their punk rock style to show some glam and hard rock influences,which they fuse in a marvellous and incredibly energetical way,with constant references to NY city.This is the "american" uk subs album.Nicky garrat even sings on some of the songs,and he does it OK.The last track,a cover of Lou Reed's Nico,is awful,though,but the rest of the album more than makes up for it.On the other hand the overall sound,mix,dynamics and tonal balance are so well acheved you won't believe your ears if your stereo is good and powerful enough.TOTALLY AND UNEXPLAINABLY UNDERATED,WILL SURPRISE BOTH DIE HARD AND CASUAL LISTENERS.
