This review is from: Killing Time (CD-ROM)
Although this game is dated in the graphics area, the overall game play is quite impressive. The game was first made for the 3DO system. The 3DO game is a bit simpler but has a few nice details left out of the PC version. Like the clowns saying 'TICKLE TICKLE' (you just have to see it to understand! Look on YOUTUBE for vidios!) and the maids saying 'HOUSEKEEPING' right before they knock the crap out of you! Both versions are about the same. Kill everything that moves! the game play map is quite large and has only a one to two second lag to load a map when going into a different area. Ammo is quite scarce and a using a cheat mode comes in handy. It is too bad this game will probably never be updated to a new graphics engine. Music is interesting as well as the characters. Sometime it is quite hard to find what you need to finish the game. I give this 5 stars as I compare this to other games from that era. I believe this was also made for the Playstation and the Sega Saturn and MAC. Ask most people who have played this game more that a few minutes, and they will tell you it is VERY addictive! You can also save anywhere in the game, not just in certain places like others. It also has a very easy to read although very basic map showing where you have been. Comes in very handy!
