Why? Well, aside from Allison, of course, there is that AWESOME pedal steel track, which fuels and drives this song. You could say it is like the third voice on the track. If the sound of a well-played pedal steel gives you ecstatic chills (like it does me), you will love this song. If you hate the pedal steel "twang" (I think that's what the country music haters derisively call it), don't even bother.

I heard this song first on the JCPenney commercial, then tracked it down online and downloaded it. I love it!

Alison Krauss & Robert Plant- A GREAT DUO,
This review is from: Killing the Blues (MP3 Download)
I have loved Alison's music and have several of her CD's, but have never liked Robert Plant and his music from his younger days. Plant and Krauss are terrific together and the songs are wonderful. I recommend this CD and it's songs highly. I was very much surprised by Robert Plant's versatility.
