THIS BOOK BY RON BRITTON EX HUSBAND OF KIM BASINGER IS AN ENTERTAINING AND BETTER THAN AVERAGE READ. HE COVERS A BIT ABOUT HIMSELF AS A HOLLYWOOD PARTY ANIMAL AND MAKEUP MAN. MOST OF THE BOOK IS ABOUT THEIR MARRIAGE, SEX LIFE, AND HER CAREER. ALONG THE WAY HE TELLS US ABOUT HIS DRUG USE, ADULTERY WHILE MARRIED TO KIM AND THEIR LIVING LARGE BUYING MANSIONS, CARS AND TRAVELS. I DID LIKE THIS BOOK BUT I WONDER IF HE JUST WROTE IT TO MAKE MONEY AND CASH IN ON HER NAME. SHE IS NOT ALL THAT INNOCENT AND HAD SOME AFFAIRS AS WELL AS HE DID. KIM WENT FROM BEING A HELPLESS, SCARED YOUNG WOMAN WITH MANY FEARS TO A DIVA WITH A BIG EGO AND MADE MANY BAD DECISIONS. HER RECKLESS USE AND MANAGING OF MONEY IS ENOUGH REASON FOR A DIVORCE. BRITTON DOES TELL SOME OF THEIR SEX CAPADES BUT DOES NOT GET TOO EXPLICIT. KIM BASINGER LATER MARRIED ALEC BALDWIN AND THAT ALSO TURNED OUT TO BE A DISASTER WHICH BRITTON ALSO TELLS US TO FILL OUT THIS BOOK. I THINK KIM BASINGER WAS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN HER YOUNGER DAYS AND IS STILL ATTRACTIVE. I LIKED HER IN MY STEP MOTHER IS AN ALIEN AND THE NATURAL. SHE CERTAINLY HAS PROVEN SHE IS A TALENTED ACTRESS. SOME OF PHOTOS IN THIS BOOK HAVE NUDITY AND SOMEONE MIGHT WANT TO BE AWARE OF THIS. ALL IN ALL THIS IS WORTH A LOOK AND I RECOMMEND THIS FOR THE CURIOUS WHO LIKE GOSSIP AND ENJOYED KIM'S MANY MOVIES.

If your a fan of Kim Basinger, you will really enjoy this biography. Kim was a movie star whose image seemed to appeared on all the 1970s magazine covers, advertisements, TV commercials, and later on television shows. It gives the reader some insight into Kim Basinger's early childhood, her personal and professional life. This book was written by her first husband, it constantly provides hints about her life with innuendos and inferences. For example, the author writes about: interviews with some of Kim's past hometown boyfriends, who called her a prude and goody-two-shoes. But, when she arrived in Hollywood, she wasn't the shy inexperienced southern bell that arrived in New York City to model. Kim's first husband writes a lot about their love life. He also reveals the men who had an affair or fling with Kim during and after their marriage. Another aspect of this book discusses her long-time struggle with agoraphobia and the contradictions of Kim's life: from being a shy small town girl - to becoming a beauty queen, super model, and movie star. It's pretty interesting.
