Assortments are hard to find, and generally way overpriced when they do show up. The average beaker price is about $5 with exceptions on the 1-2 L size. Given 5 beakers for 25 dollars the price is great too.
Kimax has always performed as well as pyrex (they both are borosilicate glass). This is a convenient source to put a commonly used set of beakers at each lab station.
The glass is a *little* on the thin side for my liking, but I don't feel like I can crush these with my hand, either. Definitely a great buy for the price. I'd order these again!

The glass on these is a little thinner than most beaker sets I've worked with. They haven't broken (yet) but we are definitely more cautious with them.Published on April 26, 2012 by Lisa R. Wood
