It's a good selection of sizes for me. I will buy another set but will look for one with dark graduations because I find the white marking hard to read against most foods. If you have never had beakers, I recommend them as kitchen implements, they are light and simple and good for all kinds of things, (I use the smallest to hold toothpicks). Kimax is first rate standard labware (borosilicate, thermal shock tolerant glass, like Pyrex). Note that the graduations are milliliters, not fluid ounces.

Most of the time when I buy beakers they come in 6 or 12 packs of the same size, with price ranges of $30-$180 for the whole package. Maybe I don't need 6 ea. 1.5 L beakers!

Assortments are hard to find, and generally way overpriced when they do show up. The average beaker price is about $5 with exceptions on the 1-2 L size. Given 5 beakers for 25 dollars the price is great too.

Kimax has always performed as well as pyrex (they both are borosilicate glass). This is a convenient source to put a commonly used set of beakers at each lab station.

I agree with another reviewer that this is a nice range of sizes without having to buy 6 to 12 beakers of the same size. As an added bonus, the price per beaker here is no more (and in some cases less) than what you could find at large retailers (think VWR or Cole Parmer) where you would be forced to buy in bulk. Kimble Kimax is equivalent to Pyrex, and after receiving these beakers, they seem to be of good quality. The gradations and label area do not scratch off easily and there are no other issues that would indicate low-quality glassware.

Believe it or not, I bought this to mix gas and oil for my garden equipment. I need to mix Gas to Oil and 25:1 and didn't want to mix large batches. I use the 50ml beaker to measure 10ml of oil and add it to the 600 ml beaker and fill it to the 250 mark with gasoline. The other sizes I didn't need in the garage so I put them in the kitchen. We are surprised by how often we use them in the kitchen to the point where I may buy some more. No problems whatsoever with quality, no issues putting them in the dishwasher.

I bought these to use while making soaps, lotions, and cosmetics. THEY ARE SO CUTE. I don't actually use the measurements as I use a scale, but I love the way they look. I get such a kick out of using them.

The glass is a *little* on the thin side for my liking, but I don't feel like I can crush these with my hand, either. Definitely a great buy for the price. I'd order these again!

A nice selection of beakers. The sizes are all useful and the material and markings are very good. For some users the smallest or the largest may be of limited use, but even so a good deal.
