1.0 out of 5 stars Touch control is extremely annoying. Bad use of technology., November 27, 2010

This review is from: Kimball & Young 89575 Touch Control Double Sided Lighted Vanity Mirror with Brushed Nickel Frame, 8.75-Inch (Kitchen)
This mirror annoys me to no end because of the touch control feature. When I use a mirror for makeup, my hands inevitably pass near the mirror's frame. The touch control senses this and turns the light off. In a typical morning of using this, I have to turn the light back on a dozen times and each time I have to touch the base 3 times to get back to high power. Another annoying thing about the touch control is that I don't know what light setting it is currently on. If I lose count of how many times I touched it, I have to cycle back through the whole list again. It drives me crazy and makes me hate this mirror. Touch control is an example of using technology where it doesn't make sense.
