Good product with aweful instructions
The product itself is great. We got two of these for our son's nursery. However, when we got the shipment, we had to rake our brains on how to connect the shade to the lamp. The shade is too dark,entirely plastic. Buyer is responsible for shipping
Description sounded like shade was fabric/embroidered - but except for the trim, the shade was entirely plastic. Shade is too dark for nursery. I also didn't like that the shade is the kind that clips on to the bulb, so it doesn't work with newer compact fluorescent bulbs with a corkscrew form. I'm returning it. Shade is too dark for nursery. I also didn't like that the shade is the kind that clips on to the bulb, so it doesn't work with newer compact fluorescent bulbs with a corkscrew form. I'm returning it. Seller charges shipping, and on return, buyer is responsible for shipping charges back. Without bulk shipping rates, this makes returning a huge loss to the buyer. I will never again buy from this seller, that has such unfavorable terms for the buyer.

The product itself is great. We got two of these for our son's nursery. However, when we got the shipment, we had to rake our brains on how to connect the shade to the lamp. We initially called the seller, who was very courteous and even reached out to the manufacturer to help us out.
In the end, my wife and I did figure it out. The instructions that came with the product indicated that the shade would fit into the bulk socket. However, it should have stated that the shade actually fits the light bulb. Now it fits snugly into the 40 W bulb and looks awesome. Hope this helps. This is a great product. The shade looks a tad flimsy, but overall a solid product. I would recommend this any day. |
