With eleven well-known Christmas favorites, evenly shared between traditional sacred carols and seasonal holiday tunes from the Great American Songbook, plus one outstanding original composition, this lovely instrumental disc offers something for everybody. What amazes me is how unique and fresh these familiar songs become when heard in Kimo's heartfelt and sensitive style, from the breezy "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" to the plaintive clarity of "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen." A lot of reworkings of Christmas music leave me wishing that the musicians had spared themselves the trouble, but every song here is a real keeper. Thanks, Kimo!

Love this album. Mauna Kea Sleigh Ride, the only song I was unfamiliar with, is now one of my favorites. The familiar classics are all beautifully played and beautifully arranged, and are as warm as a cozy fire. Great cover artwork too. This CD travelled with me this Xmas so I could play it during family dinners. It got a lot of compliments. Highly recommended!

This beautifully done slack key offering captures the sacred message of Christmas and sends it to the listener on an uplifting tropical breeze. My new favorite Christmas CD.
