This battery is described as having about twice the capacity of the stock Canon battery, but after repeated uses it is clear that there is essentially no difference. Expect this battery to last no longer than the one you got with your camera. Otherwise, it has worked fine after about a dozen full charge/discharge cycles.

I lost my original battery and needed a replacement. This battery lasts even longer than the original and was only a fraction of the cost of the original Canon NB4L battery.

for the first time use of the battery, I took hundreds of pictures, including flashes. I only had it of for a week and can not tell how long the good function of this battery can last. But for the price, I would buy againt if needed.

I have a canon SD780is camera which uses the NB4L battery. This is the second one (after return) which will not hold a charge after in the camera for a day.

Purchased this battery as a spare for my wife's canon camera. So far it has worked as expected with no problems.

I bought this battery to give my wife's old point-and-shoot camera a last lease on life. She has moved on to a digital SLR, so this new battery has hardly been used, but my impression is that it lasts at least twice as long as the old worn-out Cannon battery. How it compares to a brand new Cannon battery, I have no idea, but for the price I am quite satisfied.

The two Kinamax batteries were purchased to supplement the original Canon battery on a trip to Turkey. They were a fraction of the cost of the Canon battery. Their performance was every bit as good as the original equipment battery,maybe better. I am very satisfied and I'm sure you will be also.

I purchased these batteries after doing some research on Amazon, chosing them because they are advertised as Japanese cells. After receiving them, I was disappointed to turn them over and find the words, 'MADE IN CHINA'. As to performance, they are listed as 1300mAh, but do not last nearly as long as the original Canon or Lenmark, which are listed as 760mAh.

Canon SD1000 PowerShot Camera uses a NB-4L battery pack, 3.7V, 760mAh.

The original battery pack would originally take several hundred pictures (w/o flash) before a recharge was necessary.

A second battery pack was purchased. It is made by DigiPower has 3.6V 790mAh and performance was equivalent to the Canon... Let's say, I did not recognize if there was a difference.

Both these battery packs have been used over the last few years and have taken over 7300 pictures. It was getting to a point where the battery life was shorter than I preferred. I planned to replace these two with this new battery pack 3.7V 1300mAh. Technically, this should have been good for several hundred pictures more than the original Canon battery pack but that has not been my initial experience.

I fully charged the Kinamax battery pack before use with the original Canon charger. But after a couple hundred pictures, the low battery warning came on. The power lasted no more than either of my old battery packs.

My first impression was not good. I will give this a couple more tries. I would suggest that future buyers not base their buying decision on the power of 1300mAh.

I was a little reluctant to buy this battery at first due to a couple negative reviews, however due to the price I went ahead and purchased one.

It looks identical to the picture, is the same size as the original Canon battery, and is of good build quality.

I charged it up and have taken numerous pictures without issue. The battery is holding the charge, and dispite taking a bunch of pictures the battery indicator remains full. I have not had to recharge it yet!

So far I've had this battery for over a month now and am very pleased with it. I definetly would buy another, and would not hesitate recommending these to a friend.
