Good battery for the money
Not sure what previous reviews were refering to on the 2000mAh... picture CLEARLY shows 800 and that is what I got. In general I only buy amazon stuff that amazon carries; much more reliable then the dropship stuff. Bought it 3 months ago after one of the chinese knockoffs didnt work.

Battery is not as described. Beware
The product description says this a 2000mah battery, which is twice the OEM Canon battery and would be a great deal. So I ordered it. When I received this product, it was only 800mah, less than OEM and not worth it.

Deceptive Product,

This could not be more deceptive advertising. The "Technical Details" clearly state "2000 mAh Power".....in fact, the battery shipped is only 800 mAh. Also, the Battery does not fit well in the Camera, as it is slightly oversized, and has to be forced out of the batter compartment.....Nobody should buy this defective, and deceptive product....at any price!

Fits perfectly into the Canon Digital Rebel XSi camera. Good as a backup.
You'd expect proportional life from a 800mAh battery (it should a little less than 4/5 the life of the stock 1080 mAh battery) but this battery lasts only half as long as the stock Canon battery.

Excellent battery for the Canon XSi. It is long lasting and performs just like the Canon OEM battery.
