I purchased this and was dissapointed with the "Night-Vision". I disassembled it and found no infrared emitters. Using my own emitter, the lense seems to actually filter out infrared like any other cheap webcam. I can only think of one explaination for this.

The camera has the mic and the manual focus. BUUUUUUUUT the lights are led, not infrared. Infrared is not visible to the naked eye. Trust me you can see the light from this one. Other wise it is a god web-cam. good picture. Its just they need to change the description and the picture. the 3.5 audio jack is not there. its integrated in to the usb.

We ordered Kinamax WCM-NV399 4-LED infared camera, and once we got it, we realizae thera are NO INFRARED LEDs, but visible light LEDs. We are absolutely disappointed as we cannot use at all this device for our application. It is useless for us and we want to send it back to you.

We really want to check which is the process available for us to get the money back and return the camera.

let's say it is totally unacceptable to sell a device with absolutely wrong description. It is not fair.

Again, please advice which is the action for us to start the process in order to send the camera back and recover our money.

I just got mine in, it is dirty and obviously used. 3 of 4 LEDs aren't working, and they aren't even close to IR but bright white, and will be useless in the dark. Avoid this reseller.

the cam arrived on schedule

the image i get is so clear without any adjustment.

The cam is better than the one that came with my DEll lap top.

I however sent it to my girlfriend and I feel like getting another one for myself.

At that cost, it is a perfect bargain

i spent $17 on a webcam and the thing is so blurry they cant see me!

Infrared camera my a**. Not infrared as advertised. Image is horrible. One thing going for it: was easy to install (native drivers).

you can use this webcam for work with msn or record, have a good

quality for make simple things

The device is tiny. Sits on clip via magnet, which is also how device rotates. USB cord is very short, so the CPU or USB port has to be very close to monitor. That's a real drawback. The webcam image quality is okay, nothing to rave about. Device can snap pictures. For the price, it's an okay product.

The infrared night-vision option, when turned on, makes a slight difference, but not great.

The Kinamax WCM-NV399 webcam is good enough to produce good image and sound. The leds around the lens are regulable and provide good ilumination. This is an advantage.
