It's not even 6:30 in the morning and I'm snapping my fingers and bouncing my toes as I sit and work emails. My Kind of Town (Frank Sinatra) is the perfect song. Changing rhythms - building tempo - great vocal. I'm thinking it can't get better than this. I'm contemplating if it is actually the greatest recording. I'm torn by my devotion to But Not For Me (Dinah Washington.)
I'm quite cheerful this morning - any day that can begin with a consideration of the trivial and not a lamentation of the inevitable is a good morning indeed. Post Marked |
