Book Description

Why the Modern Liberal's thinking leads him to side with evil over good, wrong over right and the behaviors that lead to failure over those that lead to success.

Further extrapolating on the ideas in his wildly popular viral youtube talk to the Heritage Foundation, that has received over 600k hits, Evan Sayet uses his signature wit in this new book to ask thought- provoking questions during these turbulent economic and social times. And he provides the reader with some surprising answers.

Andrew Breitbart said that Evan Sayet's Heritage Foundation Speech was 'one of the five most important conservative speeches ever given.' That speech was the foundation for this book.

How did the song "Imagine" by John Lennon become the perfect symbol of liberal thinking?

Why does Bruce Springsteen dub "pain" as the wages of toil and hard work?

What’s the Democrats’ beef with God?

What do they have against the Jews of Israel?

Why do they want abortion to be commonplace and frequent?

Why does the Modern Liberal –the dominant force in today’s Democratic Party and in so much of today’s popular culture – seem to always side with evil over good, wrong over right and the behaviors that lead to failure over those that lead to success?

Evan Sayet answers those questions and a lot more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Evan Sayet exposes the modern liberal's insanity November 24, 2012
Format:Paperback
I urge all conservatives, moderates and independents to RUN out and buy this book. Evan Sayet a conservative comedian and satirist has defined the inner workings of the mind of the modern liberal. Here in this book, THE KINDERGARDEN OF EDEN, Evan breaks it all down, from Howard Zinn to the very very very very rich in Hollywood who's entire world view is so skewed, that it will only make sense if you have the mind of a 5 year old in Kindergarden.

This book expands on one of the greatest conservative speeches made by Evan Sayet at the Heritage Foundation, where he exposes the mind of the American modern liberal for the very first time. I can't recommend this book enough for all conservatives as the definitive book, when you are dealing with today's liberals. Evan Sayet is an American Patriot who continues to exposing the American liberal in their Kindergarden world of living like five year olds. Conservatives will love this book and liberals will hate this book because they can't handle the truth, and what five year old can?

5.0 out of 5 stars Conservatives will enjoy it. Liberals will hate it. November 19, 2012
Format:Paperback
For evidence, see the other reviews so far. The five-star reviews discuss the CONTENT of this book which is based on Sayet's Heritage Foundation speech that went viral on YouTube (over 600,000 page views).

The one-star reviews are filled with hatred toward Republicans, George Bush, Mitt Romney, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, etc. and -- if they bother to mention the content of this book at all -- MISREPRESENT what it actually says. Observe that those who liked the book argue that the liberals are criticizing the book for what isn't in it at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sayet Translates Neo-Liberalism into English December 15, 2012
Format:Paperback
Evan Sayet is a comedian who is a better political theorist and philosopher than most who bear that title. He's also a former liberal, so he can translate their language into normal English. Before buying this book, I happened to be reading the comments section on a 99% lefty website and was struck by how good the commenters were at making ridiculous and complex rationalizations of the events under discussion...without saying anything resembling the truth. It was like an intellectualist circle-jerk to see who could come up with the most impressive-sounding, politically correct reason why 1 + 2 couldn't possibly = 3 because 2 was misunderstood or 1 had been the victim of patriarchal oppression. This kind of exercise can only be indulged in by those who have rarely if ever suffered real peril or want. Sayet exposes the origins of this kind of (group)thought with clarity and wit. I look forward to reading the full version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book! January 9, 2013
Format:Paperback
This book is fantastic and it explains so much about modern liberals. If you've ever thought (about liberals) "They can't possibly be that stupid!" this is the book for you.

Ann Coulter says "Words mean nothing to liberals. They say whatever will help advance their cause at the moment, switch talking points in a heartbeat, and then act indignant if anyone uses the exact same argument they were using five minutes ago"...

Now Evan Sayet explains concisely WHY liberals do this and how they "think". I found myself cheering throughout the book and saying out loud "Exactly!"

A brilliant book that helps right-thinking people hold onto our most valuable asset -and the thing modern liberals want to destroy the most- CLARITY and discernment.

Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative January 27, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Coming from a former liberal, I really enjoyed this book, much like I enjoyed "stuff white people like." It's hilarious to hear observations and analysis of yourself. He makes great points as to why the left continually chooses proven failures when the outcomes have continually shown them to be wrong. Why does the left push for failing systems like Western Europe and California while rejecting successful approaches like the systems Texas has in place? I've always wondered that and Sayet has great answers as to why.
A negative comment would be that it's not the full book, but at least it's priced accordingly.
It's a pretty quick read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific insightful book February 23, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
If you're able to, watch the video of the author speaking at the Heritage Foundation (on Youtube).
I first saw him being interviewed about this book on PJTV by Bill Whittle.
Evan Sayet was funny, but more importantly, he was insightful as to why liberals have the perspective that they have on all issues.
He ties in some key works of significant authors on the same subject....Allen Bloom and Thomas Sowell to name two.
This book is worthwhile reading for understanding and isn't onerous in volume...122 pages.

4.0 out of 5 stars great theory - a bit repetitive
The book contains great examples of the theory applied to recent circumstances and events. The wording and sentences could stand a revamp in the next edition though.

This book is a fascinating perspective on the liberal thought process, or lack of it in the average knee jerk street level soldiers.

This book is entertaining and informative at the same time. Although Mr. Sayet has a clear bias his articulation and presentation of facts and events make it worthwhile reading.
