School Zone does it again!

My kids grew up using School Zone workbooks, and now my grandkids are using them!

My 3 y.o. grandson didn't seem that interested in workbooks until he saw this one! Lots of colorful pictures, writing practice, number practice, and all kinds of fun adult-child activities (as well as things they can do on their own and with awseome success!)

These newer, large books by School Zone are the best workbooks for kids by far! Teh encourage learning, confidence, and with the bigger size, take the intimidation out of kids taking on "big" reading books later in life!

I used to review books for a homeschooling school locally for their curriculumn, and was a tutor as well. These books are by FAR the best I've seen for young kids! They are fun for the children, they develop life-long skills and confidence and take the frustration out of learning!

I'd recommend these for anyone with young children around, weather it be at home, grandma's house, at preschool, day care, kindergarten, somethig for the kids to do in the car, or even a doctor's office visit (EXCELLENT for kids who are ill and miss school as well!) or where ever!

If I were to pick one workbook for a pre-K or kindergarten child, this would be it!

Lots of color pictures (that lead to more learning through talking WITH a child, and not TO them!), as well as their basics they need in order to succeed.

An awesome supplement OR curriculum for a pre-K or K child!

I'd also suggest School Zone's other workbooks for older kids as well (especially the Phonics book for 2nd graders!)

Many kids can do these at a younger age and do, so these are great confidence-builders as well! (NOT that these are below grade-level, as they aren't, but they help the kids in other areas of their school work and help them to enjoy what might otherwise be frustrating or puzzling!)

These books are on my "must-have" list for children!

my son loved this workbook! it is a great teaching tool, where the child has fun while being intoduced to the basics he/she will learn in Kindergarten. Easy to follow directions and fun pictures make it a favorite "activity/coloring book" for any child entering kindergarten whether he has a desire to learn or not. I highly recommend this book to all parents.

The book is colorful and full of different exercises for kids to practice counting, writing, sorting, analytical skills....my daughter, who just turned five and has attended two years of Pre-K loves the book and will spend 30 minutes completing different exercises.

I looked at this book in a local store, and loved the variety of activities, and skill level that it contained (good for my preschooler). There were enough pages of each skill to teach and then practice.

I ordered this from Amazon's marketplace. When I received the book, it looked completely different and even had different pages inside. Thinking that I got the wrong book from the seller, I double checked the ISBN, and it was the same. So, apparently when they updated the book (with the current pic shown on this site), they didn't change the ISBN. The new version is MUCH better; the older one has a lot of useless, boring skill sheets. If I had known this, I'd just have bought straight from Amazon. So, anyway, please be aware that you might not get the exact book you think you are getting, through no fault of the sellers on here (the did match the ISBN).

The books are fantastic, and very engaging for children.

I ordered two copies of this book for my same age children and was sent two different books; the covers were exactly the same but the interior pages were completely different. I was very disappointed with this oversight and urge other parents/educators who are purchasing the book in duplicate to check the interior before using or writing in the book.

My children are displeased and one always thinks the other has a better 'page' to work on.

This workbook was great for my 5 year old daughter. We started it the summer before she started Kindergarten. She enjoyed it so much. She always wanted to keep working on it. School Zone creates great educational and fun workbooks for children and my children have completed many of them. THey have a great selection. The Big Kindergarten workbook was worth it. It really helped prepare my daughter for Kindergarten and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This huge book of activities continues to fill the needs of Kindergarten and Kindergarten wanna-bees! It is jam-packed with every sort of activity and subject matter. Quite a bargain! Fast delivery of this book.

This is just wonderful for the price....my 4 year old grand-daughter will be more than ready to start kindergarten after going thru these pages.

I teach my grand daughter at home as she wouldn't go to preschool. She has learned so fast with all these work books, we are now doing the Kindergarten work books! She loves the coloring and fun things to do in each book.

My daughter just thrived on this book. She was so driven to finish each page that she prefered to do it than anything else. We had to pry her away from her to get her to eat. I will take that. I think it gave her a leg up in class as well.
