I never take the time to write reviews but this light is the perfect night light. KindeGlo has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. I purchased the Bronti & TRex light which both failed in a matter of months. I returned the lights and they sent replacements immediately giving my daughters the option of upgrading to the Quarter Moon. For those of you that have seen the negative reviews on the lights & chargers failing, the company says the problem has been discovered and corrected in their lights.

I have purchased a Quarter Moon a while ago. We already have the Bronti (called Borris the Brontosaurus), which has been our favorite light so far. Now my daughter wants to play with the moon all the time. During the day she carries it around, grabs it by the handle and plays and cuddles with it. Since we own the nightlights, we established a new bedtime routine. The green light is bright enough to read our bedtime story while all other lights are switched off. Now my daughter can hold the moon and I can read and hold Borris. When we are done reading I walk out and she plays for a little while until she falls asleep. There is a convenient setting to let the light fade off after 1/2 hour or stay on all night. This made our bedtime so much easier and fun and it keeps the "monsters" away! Best kid's toy and night light out there.

My 1 year old son likes to sleep with a soft light. I used to have his bathroom light on, but didn't like it. The quarter moon was the perfect solution. It doesn't get hot, he can grab it easily, he can take it anywhere he wants and he stares in awe as it changes colors (when he is really going to sleep we use the blue light only). It is very soft so not compromised by the several falls it endures and goes on 11 hours straight without any sign it is close to the end of the battery life. Sometimes when I'm recharging the light doesn't turn green, but the moon is full charged even so, so I do not mind.

We bought this one and the dinosaur one a year ago. The dinosaur broke after 5 months, and the moon finally broke after 10 months as well... the button you're supposed to press falls inside and it's impossible to reach anymore. Huge bummer because my kids love these... Customer support replaced the first one for just the price of shipping, which was nice, but we won't bother getting another one to replace the moon. Now, of course they are 3 so they played with these a little too much, but unless you have kids that don't drop or throw things, these will get broken eventually... A shame!

KinderGlo Quarter Moon Portable Fun & Safe Night Light was absolutely a great buy for my 23 months toddler girl. She started too weak up at night just a few monthsago and I understood that it might be she started to be afraid of the dark. After I bought this light, she sleeps trough the whole night again. The light is perfect, it's not too bright but you can still see. This light is very comfortable and pleasant for the eyes.

I wanted so desperately to LOVE this product, and when it works, it's amazing! However, we had to return several of them to the manufacturer due to the bottom piece disconnecting from the outside and making it impossible to use. The customer service was AMAZING and immediately sent replacements. I would recommend this product for people with children 4 and up so they can understand that while you can hold this night light, it still isn't a toy as it is not very durable. We still use our moons and my girls love them a lot, I just wish the bottom mechanism was in there a little better.

I bought 2 of these, one for my daughter and one for my son. They like to hold their nightlights like a little bit and I thought these were perfect. My kids loved them. Until both of them broke within 7 days of having them. The inside piece, the piece that sits on the charger to charge it, broke off. For $25, these should be of better quality than this. And for them being kinderglo, this is really poor quality. I probably will not try another kinderglo product as everyone I have had has broke.

My wife and I have been both impressed by this nightlight because it has no heat at all, allowing my three year old daughter to pick it up and play with it all she wants, and has a range of colors which she enjoys. She's come to taking it off the charger at nights and propping it on the bedframe just over her head when she sleeps. During the daytime too, she likes to play with the nightlight and explore the different features. Previously we paid almost the same price for a nightlight at Pottery Barn that had a single (hot) bulb and burned out in 3 months. This product is a much better deal and more fun for kids.

Our KinderGlo Quarter Moon nightlight has been terrific for my 5 year old Autistic child. She loves the gently moving lights and being able to trace the raised stars. I love that it is safe for her and there is no music to stimulate her at bedtime. I have used it on long car rides, when she is stressed at doctor's appointments, or if she gets overstimulated during the day and needs something to help her self regulate. We also added it to her Sensory Diet when she was sick last summer and started to stim in a way that was injuring herself. It's so easy to use that she can go get it herself if she needs it. I would recommend it for any child with Sensory Processing issues or who needs help to calm down or relax.

This is the perfect night light. My one-year old loves it and reaches for it every night when I put her to bed. The brightness level seems just right and I really appreciate that it is relatively soft and lightweight(which is a desirable trait for toddler accessories). It's also nice that my daughter can turn this off and on herself--so she can have some light if she wakes in the middle of the night. The charger is also a great idea and is definitely preferable to batteries--and you don't have to worry about the charge running out just when you need the light. I have the moon version and it's definitely my favorite.
