5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read!, September 17, 2011
This review is from: The Kindest Thing (Paperback)
This book was well and honestly written. What a dilemma and how strong one would have to be to resist the request of a dearly loved one who wished to end their own lives and needed assistance. I think that reading this book might help people who may find themselves in this position. I think that there must be more help around that this couple chose not to pursue. Neil's death affected a whole family in ways he could never have imagined; had he done so he would never have put his wife through this.

This review is from: The Kindest Thing (Kindle Edition)
Honestly, I dont like the way the story was written. Maybe because this story could be prevented if we have a strong faith in God. Im not condemning Deborah, the main character who admitted to assist her husband (suffering from uncurable illness) to die, but her decision is against the law and in the eyes of God. Her relationship with her children as well as her parents are also influential factors towards her actions. In fairness, the author has able to present the court proceedings real. This is one of the early ebooks purchased for my Kindle3G.
